I was looking forward to this game for a long time before it was released. I happen to be a fan of open PVP. I don't know why. Call me a masochist.

I was disappointed by the insanely slow lvl rate. I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to spend months on end lvling just so that I can seige a castle. It's a total shame. I was really looking forward to seiging.

I'm now looking for Guild Wars to satisfy my PVP craving. It isn't exactly an open system, but it sounds close enough. Plus, apparently, PVP will depend more on skill than lvl.

I played L2 for awhile, was lvl 22scout and quit. The only game I played with better graphic's was EQ2 and SWG... some people might disagree with me, but meh.

All are pay-to-play, but L2 has some cracked server's you can play on for free. One coming to mind, http://www.escapeserver.com

So erm yea, leveling in L2 was hard as hell, but whatever... As for content, EQ2 has more, but SWG has less.

5 year necro! Yessssss!!!! Figured I'd resurrect this thread than making a new one about the same game.

Anyone still playing this game? Or have fond memories of this game back in C1 days when sieges lagged the crap out of everyone?

The Dev team pretty much overhauled half the game mechanics in the recent patch. Also added more content for level 80+.....
