I finally have complaint.

As I explained earlier, I don't mind that present day Japan has ancient Rome beat in all technologies. For food... well, whatever, I'll take it, even if I don't really believe it. (I mean, Japanese food would appear highly exotic to ancient Roman... Too much, I think, to have widespread appeal.)

But the Romans couldn't even get their whores right? That completely shattered my suspension of disbelief.

Well... maybe they didn't come with the right plumbing.

I think this was more a poke at the mental capacities of the bandits than anything else.

Heh. I would have loved to see him take the wonders of Oriental pleasures to the Holy Land, but alas I can deal with the live action continuation. Consider this the biggest surprise of the year.

This was a pretty funny series. If they do it right the movie could be badass.

I read the first two volumes of the manga. I don't remember him being held at swordpoint... Though there was a panel where he fought as a legionnaire. (Oh, wait. Maybe it happens in vol 3?)

Just got around to watching this, ofcourse it goes without saying that I loved it. In much the same way I loved double-J, very creative and the ED is superb. Funny thing is, if I were randomly teleported to Japan even as it is/I am now--my reaction wouldn't be too far off from his.

We don't have toilets like that around here, after all.
