So am I right to say Kimi's ability is a sort of unlimited shield works that could even rival Futayo's speed and power? And that song... Was it a remix of the Remorse song that Horizon sings? It sounds like it's mixed with the techno bgm we've heard from the first episode.

And did Toori just inherit/usurp the throne of Musashi ?

Spoiler for :
Now that's just downright unsanitary This reminds me, I never get why characters would lick their enemy's blood off their weapons

(Yeah I'm going off-tangent, sue me.)

Well he managed to make musashi king to divide his throne/power as king/king authority to 4 and he gave toori and horizon 1 each while he keep the remaining 2. So Toori and horizon each got 1/4 of musashi throne, while he got half of the throne.

Ahh I see... But it seems Neito and the others are already going "Yes, my Lord!" on him

The transfer of king of authority is not confirm/aprove until the meeting of WestFalen....
isn't that a bit too fast.?

Yes, not just the cast though ...

Spoiler for Stream commentary:

Look at all all those Juds. at the end there!!! That scene is absolutely gorgeous and invigorating (I had chills down my spine and was soooo hyped for that entire last part) with the new BGM transitioning into the ED then have THAT picture from the novel.

Speaking of which,

Basically Manabu convinced 平山理志 (one of the two producers, don't actually know how to pronounce his name) to have this picture in this ED to give the light novel fans the maximum impact for the scene; it's just such a nice gesture considering how much they have axed (not blaming them at all) from the series. The picture was completely, meticulously redrawn by Fujii (the anime character designer). Even for a still ED, this is honestly not them being cheap at all. If you didn't notice, there's also sunlight providing a lightning change, which is on pace with the ED, with the lyrics completely matching the scene. ED2 was considered godly, but ED1 just receive huge, HUGE bonus points too cause of this ending.

This series (up until this point) is truly a great adaptation from Sunrise fully deserving every point of conscience that both original and anime fans praise the series for. I can totally feel the sincerity from the studio for producing this and not just milking its name for profit.

振り付けは完全なものを作りました。踊ってビデオ撮ってそれを参考にして貰ってます。
Kawakami actually filmed himself doing the dance choreography in this episode so the staff have a reference when animating that scene. Talk about dedication ...

Kawakami: I can write novels, I can write scenarios, I can design characters, I can design mecha, I can draw storyboard, I can build 3D models, and I can do dance choreography.
Sunrise staff: YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Next episode is second season .
Really? I have heard that there will be the second season for Horizon on 2012. I am really expecting that.

Till now, I still don't quite get the settings but I do like to watch it. It is really interesting, especially the fight. When the characters fight, the kamies they worship endow them special powers and this is a kind of Japan's style. For me I think the anime is OK and I wonder how the author writes the 'light' novel.

This episode is really awesome. Kimi 's ability is really beyond my expectation. When Kimi overwhelmed Futayo, it seems that I saw a queen(S&M?)

Inside jokeeeeeeeeee. Whenever an epic/conclusive/definitive ending occurred in an episode, Japan will go GREAT LAST EPISODE; the term (いい最終回) was used in episode 1, episode 5, and now again. Was used for GC episode 2, and crapton of IM@S episodes etc. Don't look too much into it.

I must've watched this episode like 4-5x already, and looped specific scenes like upward to like 20-30x @__@. So glad I'm having mini breaks before-after Thanksgiving, else I would've been totally screwed, also helps reading almost completely positive responses on messages boards/forums, then watching the pre-orders go up for all the volumes after the Tokyo area had its broadcast AND then terms like ホラ神回すぎる (Horizon super godly episode) popping up everywhere. It's like watching people being uncertain with the show finally decided to get on board (and lots of people complaining that Sunrise should just axe AGE and give all its budget to Horizon ).

I mean if you've followed the series thus far, you would understand how satisfying this would be. There are parts where you must've been thinking this might just be a huge waste of time, but then ended up being awed by the animation ALONG with an emotional driven plot. Being rewarded for sticking through the confusion and confirming that the series is worth following is greatttttttt.

yeah apparently people don't like how AGE is going so far?

Anyway, that won't happen simply because Bandai is pumping in $$$ for it. I do wish that Horizon receive higher budget so that the 2nd season will have the treatment it truly deserves

Well Horizon has always been in the same 'Safe' league in dvd/bd sales as Persona 4, Fate/Zero, Haganai and Working so I was never worried about it.

It's Shana, C3 and Mashiro that I'm nervous about .

Jud. definitely agree with you (and those peoples!).
ok ep 5 was great and epic but more to 'sad' department.. while this ep's epicness made me really happy because of that "happy ending"

with that awesome Jud. together, then commercial cut, and 'Pieces' started with that pic (yea I'm not novel-reader but I've seen that pic since first post of Horizon's topic), clearly an EPIC closure

I always have bad impression when Japanese people say this....It make me felt like they wanna end the series after something great happen.
Take example for Majikoi ep1, it was so epic that it makes most people quit at first episode and everyone like to spam this word. T.T

@Brimstone
opps, spelling mistaken .ya,its ep10 .
