I'm fine with Frieza depending on how they handle it. It does create some interesting opportunities for characters like Vegeta to get some payback. Especially since Vegeta always does get trolled .

Still I had to watch that teaser a few times before I figured out the guy in green was Gohan. Only when I saw Gohan going super saiyan in that green tracksuit...did I figure it was him.

How many times before they can come up with some contrived in-story reason? But seriously, the animators lost credit when not only did they screw up his battle in BoG to be SSJ until corrected, but then they still left him in as a SSJ during the circle huddle ritual. If they needed to be SSJ for that, it'd be one thing, but they used embryo Pan, who clearly wasn't a SSJ.

Like, if they had just messed up and fixed it, fine, whatever. But they fixed half of it and left the other half messed up. That's even worse!

Based on the design of his eyes I don't think Gohan's Ultimate even before he turns SSJ.

Uhhh...interesting inspiration for the new story Akira. I just hope it's not an hour sing-a-long between the Z fighters. And F is for Frieza? Never would have guessed.

Strange that this is my favorite franchise, but the writing has been really lackluster throughout most of the narrative.

Since Krillin doesn't have hair, I'm almost positive this is not a continuation of the same timeline/dimension that we ended.

How are they going to link everything, I dun know.

Goku with the Konoha symbol and Vegeta has his old Freeza saga armor again? After the 100% output of Freeza another form and audiences will be stuck for 7 hours while Goku makes another spirit bomb? lol j/k

Not really hyped for this one unlike the BOG, since we all know Freeza with another powerup just to sell him merchandise wise and character wise as well because he's the weakest villain. Either way I really want to see more Vegeta in action. Most of the movies Vegeta doesn't get enough time unlike in DBZBOG

Those translations aren't so hot. They're overly literal and have pretty big issues with phrasing, fudging hard wherever the translator was out of his depth. Reads like he might even have done it without access to the image itself.

Take Toriyama's comment, for instance. The version on Kanzenshuu goes:

This time, Freeza will be revived!
The “F” stands for “Freeza”.
This is because it’s an idea that came to me in a flash after I listened to a song called “F” by Maximum the Hormone, whom I had been introduced to by a friend, back when I was fretting over what to do about the story for the next movie.
“F” is a song that sings about Freeza in a vulgar-yet-cool way.
I remembered how, back then, they told me, “Sorry, but we went ahead and sang about Freeza without asking”.
Aha! So that’s what I could do!
With that in mind, I was immediately able to write up a story where Freeza is revived.
I know his personality very well, so it was easy to write.
And so this time, as a way of saying “thank you”,
I went and took the cool-looking spelling of “F” from the song.
He is the most vicious enemy, who is most worth defeating.
Of course, he hasn’t merely been revived, so look forward to a terrific fight!

(Of course, you have to know some of the background to understand that when Toriyama talks about listening to the song, he's not hearing it for the first time, but listening and then recalling meeting the band back in 2012 when they played in Nagoya.)

Ok, this has defiantly gotta be another universe thing, though why the heck did he decide to give Gohan glasses in this? Flippin A man.

It's like the guy really wanted to screw every one over, make Krillin balled again sure why not? Let's keep the one thing fans hated most, give him glasses and keep Gohan in super sayain form dispit what he said at the end of Z about Gohan not being able to do that and being the strongest none fused character. I thought GT wasn't considered canon, thanks folks now I'm not looking forward to it much at all
