This was the best episode yet, and yes I agree Vegeta's antics were more enjoyable here than in the movie. Animation was atrocious at parts, but I guess that's going to be the status quo other than in very important episodes.
Seeing Fat Buu getting thrashed was also strangely enjoyable coming off of watching the Kai Buu saga. Even if he's a good guy now, he needed to be knocked down a peg or two. Actually, this makes me wonder if his character is basically going to fall by the wayside in Super, kind of like Android 18 after the Cell Saga. |

And no, he shouldn't be able to absorb Beerus. It's likely Super Buu couldn't even absorb Gohan until after he had already beaten him down pretty badly, and it's basically stated Vegito could've broken out if he had wanted to, but rather he wanted to be absorbed. And Beerus is far, FAR stronger than Vegito was. |

Pretty funny episode. The last part of the next episode preview with vegeta made me think that his hair might get long, so i'm wondering if we're going to see SSJ3 Vegeta getting beat by Beerus like goku in the next episode ? (i haven't seen the 2 last movies)

I still remember seeing Kid Buu destroying SSJ3 Goku easily. I think he would give Beerus a better fight although i doubt he could win :/ Vegeta reactions made the episode. So funny xD |

When Fat Buu expelled evil Buu, he lost a significant amount of his power and was then eaten afterwards which resulted in evil Buu becoming Super Buu. Then Super Buu became Kid Buu but Buu was still inside him. So when Kid Buu expelled Fat Buu his power was then returned? |

Actually it felt like the first parts of the original Dragonball, and the staff of Battle of the Gods did say they wanted to catch the feel of those episodes. And since these sets of Super episodes are based on Battle of the Gods, well...

He's still a bastard right now. He kept on saying "due respect" But why would anyone gives him respect if all he does is being a bastard and treating others like crap? Forcing others to do shits because you feel like it, is respect? sure.... And He got angry because of water... really... They're actually lucky that Vegeta is willing to lower himself to a servant (which is the complete opposite of what he used to be). And... Vegeta for SSJ3... sure hope you don't mean in this arc where it follows 95% of the exact same thing as the Movie... Well, maybe that 5%? LOL |

Took a break after the second episode and waited a few weeks for episodes to come out so I could get through a few of them in a row. I just caught up, and I'm glad I waited. Holy hell the first 4 episodes nothing was happening at all. Almost no action other than Beerus killing anything that bothers him with ease (so we as an audience get the impression of his power I guess), which got old quick. If the little action you do have is kept at a minimum fine, but then you need to have character building. Vegeta going on vacation and being annoyed about it isn't character development. Kaio Shin gazing at the sky telling Kibtio Shin "he's coming we're all doomed" over and over isn't getting us anywhere. That was the entire outline the first four episodes. Lord Beerus and his arrival. Nothing else noteworthy happened. Episode 5 was a step up with Goku meeting Beerus and having a sparing session. At least we finally had some sort of payoff for the lengthy buildup. Then the most recent episode seemed to be a very condensed version of the Battle of the Gods film. I don't really like that movie at all, but the funny thing is that this episode compressed everything about that story into 20 minutes, instead of having it dragged out over an hour. Pilaf and his goons being around to steal the Dragon Balls seems contrived and completely unnecessary. Too many cooks in the kitchen with them being present. Anyways, just have to say I'm disappointed in this series thus far. I hope it gets better since I'm a fan of the franchise, but I don't like the direction of this at all up to this point. At the very least the first four episodes should have been trimmed down to two at most. Episodes 5 and 6 were better, but episode 6 was Battle of the Gods plot shortened. Thought we'd be getting something more original here.
