This year French Japan expo is loaded with shojo author. We have the four members of Clamp, the author of Nana & the one of Fruits basket. If i go there i will probably be overrun by shojo fangirls & less numerous fanboys.

I'm a little confused; Is this series the first original Aria series or not?

It's the third season, and is actually the finale to the entire Aria series.

Condition of the economy means everything is at a snag. It's also responsible for the scarce copies of the manga's volumes 4 and 5, in addition to no news of reprints. We just need to be patient and keep hoping for the future.
In the meantime, I recommend you purchase the other two seasons anyways to tide you over.

Aye, its the one remaining season/series we're waiting for.... I hope the sales of Animation and Natural trigger a green light so I can complete my collection, eh?

Good thing I wasn't the only one who immediately thought of Aria when I read that news headline.

One small step for women, one giant leap for Venice.

I wonder how Aria in Italy is received - it aired there recently.

Hmmm...I hate to admit this, but I came close to crying while watching this season. And I have absolutely no idea why. Aria is an anime filled with optimism, cheery characters, and happy settings. Perhaps, it was because a huge theme of the series was moving on, and how the characters had to depart from their former lives. I definitely liked this season more than the others, and you could tell that everything in the series had matured to the point of it being awe-inspiring.

Saying things like: "This is good stuff," or "This was a cute series" doesn't cut it; it's in a league of its' own. And I'll try watching it again when I get the chance.

"Close" to crying? You heartless bastard. Episode 9 of Origination costs me half a box of Kleenex every time I rewatch it and the last one requires a visit to Costco to stock up in bulk.

Hahaha, I was close, but I didn't want my tears to interrupt my viewing. =P Tears get kind of messy. Plus, Kleenex is expensive. <------(is cheap)

Noizumi apparently just listed ARIA the Origination for production, so that means we just might get our final "legitimate" ARIA fix after all (scheduled for 2010 release).

Thanks to relentlessflame for spotting it.

Which is actually thanks to CrowKenobi and also having ANN on RSS.

But anyway, yes, very much looking forward to completing the English releases for the show. I'm also looking to purchase the Aria CD Box in a few months that comes with a never-before-released extra/outtake OST CD (along with compilations of all the OPs/EDs/Insert Songs)... and I may also pick up the Drama CD Box being released later this month (but I'm on the fence on that one). Yay for Aria stuff!
