This year French Japan expo is loaded with shojo author. We have the four members of Clamp, the author of Nana & the one of Fruits basket. If i go there i will probably be overrun by shojo fangirls & less numerous fanboys.

Aye, its the one remaining season/series we're waiting for.... I hope the sales of Animation and Natural trigger a green light so I can complete my collection, eh?

Hmmm...I hate to admit this, but I came close to crying while watching this season. And I have absolutely no idea why. Aria is an anime filled with optimism, cheery characters, and happy settings. Perhaps, it was because a huge theme of the series was moving on, and how the characters had to depart from their former lives. I definitely liked this season more than the others, and you could tell that everything in the series had matured to the point of it being awe-inspiring.
Saying things like: "This is good stuff," or "This was a cute series" doesn't cut it; it's in a league of its' own. And I'll try watching it again when I get the chance. |

Noizumi apparently just listed ARIA the Origination for production, so that means we just might get our final "legitimate" ARIA fix after all (scheduled for 2010 release).

But anyway, yes, very much looking forward to completing the English releases for the show. I'm also looking to purchase the Aria CD Box in a few months that comes with a never-before-released extra/outtake OST CD (along with compilations of all the OPs/EDs/Insert Songs)... and I may also pick up the Drama CD Box being released later this month (but I'm on the fence on that one). Yay for Aria stuff! |
