So Mami has sealed the deal for a breasted-character to win the tournament or even reach the finals. If she wins this, she'll also be the winner with the least screen time (She only appeared in episode 1-3 and a few minutes in episode 10 and a few seconds in episode 12. Kyouko also has pretty little screen time; somewhere between 5-6 episodes.
Well at least the final will have a pretty epic banner being Red versus Yellow.

So Mamicita got way aHEAD of Madoka in the closing hour...
If she wins the finals, she'll still be alone... ...on top of the Saimoe 2011 chain anyways EDIT: And while we are at it, let us remember the two semifinalists who fell in battle; they will never be forgotten... Spoiler for Erica Hartmann (with Gertud Barkhorn):
Spoiler for Madoka Kaname (La Niņa, our fallen Goddess):

Yesterday's Result:
Kaname Madoka - 392 Tomoe Mami - 407 It's Mami's worst vote total so far but it is still just enough to get by Madoka. Unlike her match with Sayaka, Madoka actually did better than I thought she would here. I expected Mami to win a bit more easily. Still a win is a win. Mami goes on to face Kyouko in the final match of the tournament.

This is the day thou all shall remember that the first D Cup girl has finally reached the final in Saimoe tournament. The impossible feat that no one can do it before.
Gold Achievement Unlock: D Cup Finale Don't be sad Madoka! You should be proud coming this far and only lost to Mami by just a very small margin. A feat that no one in this year can do it too! Now, take your time eating popcorn with Homura and watching the rematch from drama CD 3 between Red Ranger and Yellow Ranger aka Rosso Phantasma vs Tiro Finale.

Edit: Oh, and what a tight finish! If this was a horserace, we'd say that Mami won by a head...

Look at that desu spam in the voting thread. I'm not sure how much that would disrupt voting, but clearly someone disgruntled over the series domination was trying to interfere with Madoka's rush.
A while back in this thread I remember defending a last half hour rush against claims that it would be safer to rush two hours out. Damn it, 2ch, I meant last half hour, not wait until the last 6 minutes!

Mami defeats Madoka by a razor thin margin of 15 votes, making her the first well-endowed character to ever reach the Final Match of the Anime Saimoe Tournament, a place where none like her has ever set foot upon before.
Mami, trailblazing her way into history with Tiro Finale. Will she make it as the first champion with considerable assets? Or blaze the trail only up to the hallowed ground of the Final Match? Quote:

Mami Tomoe deserves this victory more than everyone else, since her seiyuu voiced a whooping characters which includes Mami in Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
So in the end, if Mami Tomoe wins, it's like Walpurgis Night wins. |

The vote totals are a bit lackluster, but I am pleased that Mami won. I will be supporting her in the finals, but a Kyouko win would be fine too.
I think that the vote totals for the final will be about 800 between the two of them. If it were Mami vs. Kuroneko, now that would have been exiting (and probably with around double the votes). |

Yahoo~!!
Man, I thought Mami would have an easier time, but this turned out to be one of the closest matches. I'm glad there was so much love for Madoka though (scary as it was XD), as it should be for Madokami.. I think she put up the toughest challenge for Mami thus far (Ika was tough too). It's awesome when the girl you root for since before the Tournament even starts makes it this far. Kyouko is the last one standing in her way, and she has had some scary numbers as well. After the match against Madoka, I feel like Mami will regain the support of the Madoka voters. They seemed to have a hard time choosing between the two in the voting thread.. Anyhow just one step away. You can do it, Mami-san Spoiler for Mami:
