I believe the same basic principle applies with Hime's situation. The ones responsible for the destruction spread across the worlds and the loss of Iona's sister are the villains who actually committed those actions, not the girl who unwittingly allowed them to happen. I keep thinking of Deep Mirror. I don't know what it is, but it doesn't seem to have come out of the Axia Box, unlike the rest of the Phantom Kingdom. I suspect it may be the real mastermind behind things.

Whoa... how many terribads did Cure Honey take out in her nuke from orbit finishing move?!
And they were "super tough", too.... Looks like next ep is a power up one, and where Cure Princess and Cure Fortune may finally begin to reconcile.

All right, that clinches it. Cure Honey's finisher is totally OP for her "first" finishing move. That sort of power should come after a powerup or two, not right away.
It looks like Phantom destroys Iona's Cure Fortune Precards in the preview. She's going to have to get new powers to stay in the game, probably from a love crystal of her own this time.

Fortune kicking butt alone with her new powers is well precedented. Given that she is effectively an entirely new Precure at this point, I would relate her fight to things like Cure Sunshine’s intro where she singlehandedly defeated the monster that had beat up the other two Precure, or Cure Moonlight’s revival where she defeated Dark Precure and all thee of the enemy generals while the other Cures had been losing in one-on-one fights against a single general in the same episode in Heartcatch Precure; or Milky Rose’s early rescue of the Cures in Yes 5 GoGo where she singlehandedly beat down the enemies that had been dominating the entire group, or other similar such things. Particularly since Fortune has already been clearly stated to be the most powerful of the Cures, so once she gets a notable powerup she would clearly become devastating.
Frankly, what I’m more concerned about is that she’ll get toned down in future battles to match the rest of the group. I hate it when that happens. There certainly will be battles where the team gets to show off how Precures become more powerful together. But this was the episode where Fortune finally gets a grip on herself, and as a result gets her moment to shine. As for Iona’s willingness to make up with Hime… it seemed somewhat sudden, yes, but I’m willing to let it pass. She had just been defeated and was in despair. Her illusions of who was at fault had been torn away. Hime personally showed up and saved her, in a place where no one should have been able to save her. And the first thing Hime did wasn’t continue fighting Phantom, but rather rush over and GIVE UP HER DREAM, her only hope of saving her family, her home, her entire world, in a desperate attempt to apologize to Iona for what Iona had suffered through. Iona was no longer in a condition to lie to herself. She could see plainly how much Hime had suffered, how much SHE had MADE Hime suffer through her misplaced blame. She tried to apologize then, but Hime ran off to help Megumi and Yuuko. So Iona chose to act, to make use of the treasure Hime had given her to regain the power to fight, but this time to fight to protect what was precious to her, rather than for revenge and hatred. That’s my read on things, anyway.

Ep 23
Another good ep to be sure. Nice to get a little bit more of charas backstories, including Blue, Mirage and finally what happened that made Hime open Axia in the first place. Also nice to see Fortune finally realize how nasty she was to Hime for so long and make an effort to strezch out her hand and finally officially form the full Happiness Charge set. ^^ Gotta admit though - Pine Arabian dream was an odd combo for some reason. Basically a sleep spell, I guess? Training camp at the beach next week. It will be nice to see the rest of Happiness Charge level up, but if they do Honey is gonna be even scarier!

Wow, now this was an episode where stuff really happened. Progress was definitely made. Blue's past with Mirage, Hime's reason for opening Axia, Iona trying to break the ice with Hime having acknowledged that she's been screwing up royally with how she's been treating Hime up until now... Just lots of stuff here.
As I suspected, Phantom got smacked down for defying orders to stay out of Pikarigaoka. Also still get the feeling that Mirage is going to be redeemed at some point.

By the by, remember in ep 21 when Honey takes out a pile of (tougher) terribads at once with her nuke from orbit finishing move? I got curious and tried to count how many showed up on the screen right before impact.
It was around 40 of them. -_-

Hmm... I kinda have mixed feelings about introducing such a complicated love polygon here. Not that there have not been relationships in PreCure series before this, but offhand I do not remember such complications before. I guess the mixed feelings are partly because it is "new", but I think it is new for a reason. As others have pointed out previously in speculations Blue and Queen Mirage and Hunter Phantom and perhaps even Tender may be in the state they are how precisely because of relationships gone sour or afoul, etc. It could be that Cure Lovely's experiences and responding to them in the right way will be eventually able to counter Queen Mirage's response (perhaps aggravated by Deep Mirror) near the end.
