and the characters are supposed to be like that, you can't have a "regular" person in silent hill otherwise they wouldn't be there in the first place xD

Well... badassery won't make the concept behind the "struggle between good and evil" in Silent Hill work.
The Silent Hill mythos can be seen online, and actually the games make a whole lot of sense once you realize what the town stands for not just as a physical place on earth but also its more... metaphysical representations.

Iam more surprise on RE Outbreak how some of those guys survived. Ashely is the downside of RE4, they needed the damsel in distress, but she was useful in some points like driving and an eye candy for perv Leon. Speaking of Silent Hill and Fatal Frame. Seems this Indonesian devs beat the those guys to it. DreadOut

Here's some The Evil Within interview and gameplay footage from E3.
Spoiler for ...:
Hope to see more gameplay. As of now I'm really impressed with what I've seen so far. Looks like Mikami-sensei is taking his time in making this a masterpiece.

Despite the low quality, I have to say I like where this is going.
1. You can walk and shoot at the same time - Check 2. The trap mechanic being utilized and shown to a certain degree - Check 3. Creepy looking enemies - Check 4. Stealth - Check 5. Full animated non censored chainsaw related death - Checkmate I like what I see. I hope that Mikami-sensei can truly make this a masterpiece it can potential be. The direction is good, but need to see more future gameplay to see what the game mechanics and direction is capable of.

Truly better trailer compared to the last one. Mikami-sensei and the team he's working with never cease to amaze me with what we can expect from this. It's still minor, but at least it's better to get a glimpse of what to expect in the story and how things will possibly play out.
The analysis was really well thought out and presented pretty well. In terms of presentation I preferred the Japanese version of the trailer rather than the American one; possibly due to the fact that the Japanese version had the creepy eerie music and atmosphere while the latter was too damn dramatic. Regardless, can't wait to see more and Mikami-sensei, you're truly amazing. Day one buy for me, but I wonder if I should get the PS4 or PS3 versions..."shrugs shoulders" decisions, decisions.

I thought it was interesting that they made two different bgm for the American and Japanese trailer. I agree that the Japanese version's eerie screeching song is more creepier, but the American version's louder thumping sound seems to build up excitement more. One of them gets your blood pumping while the other drains the blood from your face One gets you in the mood to get you running from the monsters, while the other sets the tone for walking into the monsters.
