Yeah Kresphy has been very reliable, I've been posting his episode titles and synopsis in this thread since episode 10. Of course he could really troll people with the last few synopsis's if he wanted to lol...

Being told that she was created or turned into something that was suppose to be a weapon and was being used her entire life until the "real" thing in Ranka came around is bound to make her jaded and disillusioned.

Now you have to remember a few things.. stuff that is not in the show..

Lion/Northern Cross CD Single is released on the 20th of August, Sheryl tells Alto she won't sing anymore in episode 19 which airs on the 14th of August. In episode 20 there is a Ranka concert which airs the 21st of August. They have promoted the past two cd singles in Diamond Crevasse/Don't Be Late and Interstellar Flight prominently in show. Expect the same for Lion/Northern Cross but how do we get to that point...

Well first off the person she tells is Alto, also she would more than likely tell him about the reasons she gave up which we will find out in 18... unless they don't show us than and let us find out during her talk with Alto.

I expect a very interesting, heated, emotional conversation between those 2. Remember Sheryl's words in episode 3 about making her own destiny which Alto mimicked later when he asked Ozma if he could join SMS? I wouldn't be surprised if Alto throws them back in her face to remind her.

Now Ranka has a concert in episode 20 and the spoiler says

"At Ranka's concert, three people's thoughts are crossed."

I wouldn't be surprised if Sheryl goes on stage to sing Northern Cross (acapella) @ Alto near the end of the concert, after she thinks through what Alto says to her in 19 during the concert as well as other stuff.

I really can't see them promoting Lion in that concert... I think they would save the Sheryl/Ranka duet for a later event.. and also how would Ranka know the lyrics to an unreleased song.. bah it's anime though so lol...

Doesn't Sheryl normally write her own songs? Northern Cross is most likely written by her because it's her feelings toward a certain someone but I'm not sure about Lion... don't think Ranka can compose though

Yeah that's what I'm saying, Ranka doesn't write her own stuff, she just knows Aimo in her head and everything else is covers and stuff written by everyone else. So no chance of Lion in 20 for that reason alone imo, has to be NC. Maybe another telepathic communication like in 7 though... lmao. Lion's probably going to be used near the end of the series in the show.

Sheryl not wanting to sing anymore kind of reminds me of Minmay, especially in DYRL, because she was heartbroken.

I guess we know what Hikaru did to convince her to sing again.

Except Minmei's songs were songs to save the world. Sheryl's songs, on the other hand, have no impact on humanity's enemies.

On the new Quadraluun pilot.

I know it somewhat a typical anime cliche that the younger sibling would replace their older sibling that died but I think Raramia may have a younger sister.

I been watching episode 10 and the actress that Ranka replaced for Mao's role looks like a younger version of Raramia.

Unless Meltrans are born knowing how to pilot a QR (are they?), I don't think it'd be likely.

Maybe they cloned Raramia? It's not like there's a real big stigma against cloning people to adult-hood. Zentradi were apparently doing it for thousands of years.

To the best of my knowledge, none of 19-21 synopsis have been officially sourced to a publication yet. While 19, 20 and first part of 21 sound likely, that last part in 21 is too out there too be true. (sorry Tak )

I hope the reason is something cheesy like her glimmering love for her princess charming and not for the people haha This seems to be one of the main things that pushed Ranka's character to grow. Either way, I'd really like it if she just drops the whole stardom thing altogether and just be Ranka. She's better off singing on top of Griffith's park with an audience like Alto, her friends, and Ai-kun.

My take on Sheryl is that, she's going to stand up to Galaxy side by side with Ranka in the end. This is the best outcome I can think of if the staff really want to push the TV Minmei vs DYRL Minmei character dynamics. So Sheryl might look sidelined for now, but she certainly has something on her sleeve---like the fold quartz on her earring.

Although some of us believe Ranka should just be... who she is, the innocent lass who sang in malls and parks.

But do remember, she was looking for fame, and now she got it. She had been searching for a way to be like Sheryl, she found it, grabbed onto it, and certainly, by the look of things, surpassed it.

Ranka sings because she loves to sing. She loves it when people listen to her singing. When she realizes this, she'll probably chose to stop being a tool of war.

I agree that Sheryl and Ranka will probably sing together toward the end. Hence the new op. And it will probably be something cheezy like singing for peace of the universe.
