Check this out:

I find it interesting. The first pic is "The Love for Nagisa" and the second one is "The Battle Over Hikari"

I happened to access the website of Seven Seas Entertainment, LLC again and found that the page of Strawberry Panic was slightly changed.
http://www.gomanga.com/manga/strawberrypanic.php

They will translate and sell the manga in November 2007. (Unfortunately, it's not 2006.)

It seems as they are going to release the novels before the manga. I consider this bad marketing. Face it, people these days don't read much. Besides, yuri is new to the market and so are light novels like this. I think they should put out manga first to get more customers and open up the market. Then they can see money rolling in when they put out the novels.

What is the point of putting out somehting new to get more money but fail at bad marketing?

Wow! That is some awful art. They must be cutting the budge or having someone else (cheaper or drunk) do the drawing.

If you're referring to the two pieces that Shizuma and Nagisa actually played, Shizuma played part of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (Piano Sonata #14 in C-sharp minor) in episode 6, and the piece they played all the time was A Maiden's Prayer by Tekla Badarzewska.

There are quite a few piano pieces in the series...here's a link to a list of all the songs in the OST:

How about the one Shizuma plays all the time when she is alone and perhaps in angst mode?

Sorry, I can't seem to recall any time in the anime that Shizuma played by herself. Do you remember the particular episode number?

The one Nagisa likes to practice whenever she's thinking of Shizuma would be "A Maiden's Prayer" by Badarzewska.

That's the piano part of track 13 in the OST
運命 (Unmei)

It's the same piece that was played during the last part of episode 18 at Shizuma's villa.

Check this out! Strawberry Panic won as the best yuri anime of 2006 from the Random Curiosity. I can see why since the anime really showed what yuri really means.

As expected from SP!, congrats to SP! for getting the 1st place ^_^. Is expected, because it is the only yuri anime out there this year with such drama and nice storyline. Of course, nice characters as well. wee Chikaru ^__^....

Thnaks for the info .

What yuri really means?

Its understandable that this show won - for the Yuri element alone it has the characters and story that'll make it win. Still, Kasimasi was also a brilliant Yuri title.

I don't really want to understand, "what yuri really means' just sounds like a crap corney line, and showing sex/naked scenes aren't needed to show that - really love is whats needed, and just about every Yuri title does that.
