Chapter 7 feature the second contribution of Zenjirou. The first one is numerical system, more to do with administration. This one concerns contract and treaty, have long term implication and international scope.

Same deal~ Thanks to the numericals, it became easier to calculate. Otherwise there's no way to know short of a major audit, which has political implication. Since they can do it easily, they have no need for big action, just call aside the guilty party and imply something something. Saving face all around~

They don't use the numerical system at the moment. Their plan is to use it in the future and change the system slowly. What made it possible to calculate fast was the pc software and not the numerical system. The problem were also the important nobles and they would likely bribe civil servants, so that Aura would never know that they don't pay enough money.

this actually makes me wonder. since they don't have a numerical representation of number (i think it was written in words), how advanced was their calculation method? looks like they can add and subtract, what about multiplication or trigonometry? if i'm not mistaken, to build a good structural building you have to make a certain calculation for precision, material mix, etc. ...

Yeah, by minds. Doing it in your mind.

Also, another invention Zenjirou can give. Abacus is easy and cheap to make, and as a Jap guy he should know how to do it proficiently. Find a carptenter, describe the item. Demonstrate its use before a group of officials. Done.

Is this in thecorrect category? I thought everything that's not-english and commercially released would be categorised as LN... so why is this in the WN corner?

I was under the assumption that PROzess translated the LN and not a WN (since we have the various covers and illustrations).

First of all, the one asking will look ungrateful in the eyes of the translator and secondly, PROzess is known to delay the release of his translated chapters everytime someone pops up to ask this question. He already did this multiple times as far as I am aware. ^^
As someone who also translated stuff, I can actually agree with him on this.

It will be done when it is done, you could just as well make a phone call to ask the author "When will the next chapter be released?"
