Man i love what Production I.G made for this OAV , it's really great , the character design was good , not like the one Bee train provided D: .

overall it was a great first episode , i just don't like Kakyo's voice , he sounded manlier in X :S .

Considering i have banished the Bee train series from my life , i can't say that i am familiar with the Soundtrack , so can anyone tell me if the soundtrack used in Tokyo Revelation is the same as the TV series ? because i really like the BGM that played when

You know just because you don't like Bee Train's adaptation of the manga, doesn't mean you can't listen to the wonderful musical score for the series.

Anyway, that track you mention was never played in the two seasons, it's a new piece of music for this production. Though saying that, TTR did use some of the tracks from the series, no shock really.

haha You tell me that we you say that you told me that you don't listen to an OST when you haven't seen the series :P .
well i guess i wasn't precise when i said banished , i have seen only up to ep 5 of each of the season , i could not bear to watch more . therefore i can't say i have really paid attention to the OST , only track that got my attention was "ship of fools " .
But anyway , thanks for answering ^_~ .
I'll try listening to the OST , but the thing is , a friend who is a Kajiura fan told me only the first two are good , OST 3 and 4 are disappointing ..he says . That's why i never bothered trying to listen ..:S

Actually, Future Soundscape III happens to be my overall favourite of the series as far as the impression the songs left me with is concerned. On the other hand, I would agree that OST 4 lacks that "something" that made the previous ones shine. Of course, "broken sword of justice" is just magnificent (a sad rendition of "break the sword of justice"). However, people's music tastes vary. So, I'd say that you should listen to them first and not discard them just like that.

I really can't wait! It's my favourite manga arc. I couldn't sleep on the night I read through it...

I think you need to listen to the third and fourth soundtracks, and find out for yourself. Both the third and fourth soundtrack have some wonderful Kajiura pieces --- a must listen for any fan of her music.

Wow, I was impressed by this. There was no dallying around like in the tv series - they just went straight through the beginning of Tokyo arc, covering nine chapters of the manga (107-115). The animation quality, as expected, was superb, especially during the Kurogane vs. Kamui fight. The only downside is that it makes me want to see more, and the next DVD isn't out for two more months.
