Is that rated from best selling to least best selling? Because if so, there's some real surprises there...

Nah, it's sorted by release date. Only Working`!! has actually been released, so all the rest are just "future" (with the Fate/Zero boxset released last in March).

I see. Thanks for the clarification. I didn't think that could be a fully accurate sales rankings list, but because it came almost right after "Ranking BD + DVD" I wasn't sure what else it could be referring to (also, I thought Fate/Zero coming last might be due to it being counted separately due to how it's being sold in a box set). But yeah, it's ordering them by release date.

GC is looking pretty dead right now though. The series still hasn't settle down. The push from last week is looking like just die-hard fans trying to do something (still nowhere near as crazy as the initial Haganai push). Everything else looks pretty settled down already.

Still seems like P4>>>>>F/Z>>>Working=Horizon for the top 4 spots for Fall. P4 (the game)'s popularity's just crazy given that most people seem to think the anime's pretty meh and still raping the sales chart.

I'd say P4 = F/Z if not F/Z > P4 at this point. P4 sales have settled down somewhat and F/Z has been in the top 10 (specifically number 1) for a week and a half now. IIRC that's longer than the time P4 spent in the top 10.

Best ranking BD box I've seen since Haruhi, which went on to sale 34k.

Is that the best selling BD box record to date?

I'd be more inclined to say that they've found another title that taps into the general female anime fan market, because UtaPrince is based on an Otome game. Google tells me that there is SOME fujoshi-orientated doujinshi floating around, but from a quick glance, it does not seem to be overwhelming.

Starry Sky was the other huge one before this, although its popularity is more observable in CD and character goods sales.

Not having followed either series, I'm not sure why there's a huge difference in DVD/BD sales - possibly the quality of the anime, the popularity of the franchise, or even the extras available...

I'll have to admit that the character Nakamura Yuuichi voices has me itching to check UtaPrince out...

edit: Oh, there was Hakuouki too...

A Certain Imageboard also stated once that the character songs for UtaPri aren't that bad.
Welp, looks like A-1 is gonna rake in the moolah by the truckload this year.

The abysmal results for Nekogami are saddening. That's a damn fine show, and it deserves a lot better, in my opinion.

That was from the first volume, I heard the subsequent volume wasn't as crazy strong and a lot less than 20k.

Unless it's 5k for the second volume, it's still strong sales from UtaPri.
In other news, other anime series from the same season were suffering from little and "undeserved" sales.

@Seiyuu curses
That's kinda insulting for Haruka Tomatsu, Daisuke Ono and all those unfortunate folks who are linked to curses like those.

13,456 to be exact. Practically a 45% drop in numbers.

I didn't say it became bad, I just said it wasn't as crazy strong as the first.

Just looked at that blog post and Cross Game's sales. Now I never expected the series to be a hit, but to see such a wonderful series sell so low. I am a little depressed now.

Thank god we got to see the whole series animated up front.
