This is a compilation of suggestions I've heard over the months for possible VAs for the characters.

If anyone else has any better suggestions, that'd be great.

Main Characters:

Kyonko: Maaya Sakamoto, Nana Mizuki, Rie Kugimiya, Yui Horie
Haruki: Katsuyuki Konishi, Tetsuya Kakihara, Takashi Kondo
Yuuki: Hiroshi Kamiya, Mamoru Miyano, Akira Ishida
Mitsuuru: Megumi Ogata, Ryoko Shiraishi, Akiko Yajima
Itsuko: Ayako Kawasumi, Kikuko Inoue, Masumi Asano

Side Characters:

Tsuruya: Nobuyuki Hiyama, Tetsuya Kakihara
Asakura: Jun Fukuyama, Mamoru Miyano
Taniguchi: Marina Inoue
Kunikida: Megumi Matsumoto (lol)
Computer Club President: Rie Kugimiya
Otouto: Akiko Yajima

Yes, some of them overlap, but that's because there were no other suggestions, really...

Anyway, it's time for AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION, YAY!

Go ahead and vote on who you think would be best, or suggest new ones, I don't care.

Also, look these voice actors up yourself if you don't know who they are, I'm not linking them all again...

I think I'll contribute a bit to this VA discussion.

Kyonko - Yui Horie (After hearing her role as Yuuki Cross from Vampire Night, she seems to be able to do the voice I had in mind for Kyonko.)
Haruki - Katsuyuki Konishi
Yuuki - Hiroshi Kamiya
Asakura - Jun Fukuyama

I also agree with Kaiso's choices for Taniguchi, Kunikida, and CCP.
I'll do some more research on the other VAs soon so that I can take my vote on the other characters as well. :]

Noto Mamiko would be a scary Mitsuuru.

No matter how hard she tries, she can't sound like anything other than Noto Mamiko, making every role she does sound strange, especially after playing Clannad.

The Noto moan out of Mitsuuru....?

Does he still play part-time trap, or did that get dropped? Is the cosrape still in place as in the Mikuru version?

And I still think Minorin for Kyonko...just with a slightly older version of her Chiaki voice. We know she can do sarcasm now. We just need to know if she can do snarky sarcasm. We also know she can do aggrivated.

(Most of the rest of mine were to see what flavor we'd get out of Kyonko verses what you've written)

I really don't like Noto Mamiko that much.

Also, I don't want voice actors from Haruhi playing roles in Seitenkan. Too confusing.

Experiance works sometimes. She knows the songs for sure, she's played opposite the Kyon role. If she doesn't play it like Yuki, there will be little confusion...aside from in your head. The one I don't want playing Kyonko, but seems to be voiced that way in a lot of Japanese videos is Aya Hirano. She's all well and good, but I've not heard she do a voice that is snarky that doesn't sound like Haruhi (well Konota, but that voice really doesn't fit at all).

"Daisuke Ono for Asakura" That might be funny. Not sure if it would work.
He is doing Battler for the the Umineko series.

I'm making an official ban on voice actors from Haruhi.

Let's look elsewhere in Japan's massive voice actor pool, hmm?

In the end...we'd need a voice impersonator to do all the various voices to really decide wouldn't we. (Or the real deal...but that's kind of next to impossible).

Hmmm.......call me crazy, but I can picture Tsuruya-kun's voice as Mayumi Yamaguchi. But I like the suggestion of Yuuki being voice by Hiroshi Kamiya!

That. . .put an odd picture (Or rather video clip in my head) seeing as I played Galaxy Angel. I've always imagined Tsuruya's voice to be a tad more. . .hyper is the best word here actually. . .
