Maybe, but I expect she'll still going to be full tsun. Well, she still needs to get more screen time first. Her development as character is really pale in comparison to Megumi.

Maybe she'll start appearing more after she goes to the dormitory? Making friends through manga and the likes. Since she practically doesn't have any friends, only followers.

Btw, the first few pages are hilarious. Truly the ultimate stalker.

OK... generally I like how Erina is presented here. She seems to be a person whose attitude is determined by her current mood. But even with that I think her attitude makes sudden 180° turns too often.

She's already slowly changing anyway.

Started out with complete disgust -> still dislikes him, but have begrudgingly accepted that he isn't all that bad.

I don't think it's more so much of a attitude change scene, but I guess this is a great starting point for Erina to be featured more and more outside of her rich girl, Elite 10 bubble.

- Hishoko, her bodyguard and 'bubble' is gone.
- Alice is friends with Souma, which means more opportunities to drag them together contextually.
- Erina having to figure things out for herself.

We'll probably have a scene at the end of this story arc where Souma thanks Erina for her opinion and her help on the tasting, or something along those lines.

Asking Erina is the best idea, she will spare no time ripping that dish to pieces and since it Soma's dish it will be a even more hasher critique. Exactly what Soma needed, know it flaws and start from there to improve the dish even further while growing more insight on his cooking.

I agree with you there. And since Souma's the stubborn but listening to advices type, he will try to match Erina's critique and improve even further.

Another thing with Erina is that she is restricted by her social standing/family. Remember her being envious of Alice expressing her emotion. Seems like when Erina is with Soma, he drags out her true self.

For this chapter, Erina with that shoujo manga was freaking hilarious and adorable. Seeing her in this light is so much more enjoyable.
