Well I think you can lock in Lulu for the #1 spot for the rest of 2009 in newtype. As for C.C if Nagi-sama doesn't Sheryl probably will when the Macross Frontier movie airs during summer.

Oh I'm sure a GS Movie would elevate Kira back to #1 but hasn't that been in production hell for years now? Most of the big movies for next year have already been announced and dated too... Eureka Seven, Macross, Eva, Summer Wars...

Off Topic: Well I dunno really; We know Fukuda's wife got some heatlhy problem and still they didn't cancealed the movie production since in April 2008 there were some news about that If I remember well. If this movie must be out, 2009 should be a good period, after CG and G00, it would be a nice marketing move.

There is too this "surprise" they are doing for their 30th birthday so well...we'll see.

At least we are ok, when this movie will be up, Kira will return on tthe podium for a new bunch of years -_-'

I think that is a fair development. Lelouch is my favorite character from Code Geass but he shouldn't stay at the top of the list forever, other people need to come and go because new series will gain popularity and exposure. It makes me a little nostalgic, yet it is natural.

Well it doesn't surprise me that much. After all the show is over for 2+ months.
But hmm...I am quite confident that CG characters (at least two of them) will stay in the list till 2010.

Till 2010 ? I'll say Lelouch should stay in the list for a while, but as I said before, if the Gundam Seed movie is finally out, we can already be sure that some quartet will be there to steal a few places: Kira, Lacus, Cagalli, Athrun)
And let's not forget others project; If Geass character already lost their top place, I don't think they will be able to resist for a long time. I hope at least Lelouch will be there as long as possible but well...

Other: Nina Einstein. I think Nina is actually quite a well written and strong character IMHO. How many anime characters would be willing to use a Nuclear weapons (In this case F.L.E.I.J.A)? The other thing is that she realized how powerful and horrid a weapon it is (much like the real Einstein did).
