This Ganondorf looks to have a bit of Demise incorporated into him.

Also, the Nintendo Direct confirmed Zant and Girahim are also playable. I imagine that's all the characters we'll be getting then.~

So far I am pleased though there are a few things I did not like.

1. No confirmation of an online mode, only local coop play was mentioned which we already knew.

2. There will be a DLC costume set linked with a Club Nintendo registration. I hope I can use my "illegal" Nintendo UK account to get a DLC code since I am from an ineligible country.

3. There are several costume DLC linked to retailer preorders. This is very common to other games as well but it limits those of us that want them all.

Still, the Direct today was awesome and it's nice of them to add sooooooooooo many playable characters!

Not liking how Ganadorf's head/hair looks, but everything else looks good about him. He's my #3 anticipated character to use, behind Link and Sheik.

Evil, despicable practice is retailer exclusive preorder DLC. Wasn't even going to preorder as I have no Wii U yet, but looks like there's no choice.

Sigh. Now, to pick, do I want OOT, TP or SS skins...only get one, ffs.

Based purely on what was shown, unless you REALLY REALLY want SS Link or Zelda, I'd go with one of the other two, since they have Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. I'll probably lean towards TP, since Ganondorf looks best there (well, I prefer his OoT look, but it looks odd in this game).

I think you're mixing things up. The Ganondorf skins, both the OOT and TP ones, you get as a set when you register your game with Club Nintendo before October something. That's separate from the retailer exclusive bullshit. Those are just for Link and Zelda it seems.

Unless these DLC packages find their way into the marketplace post-launch, it's just bad form... and, honestly, you'd think publishers wouldn't bother with the practice, because they'll be shipping to all the retailers anyway. Related: platform-exclusive content unjustifiable by hardware differences - after all, X thousand copies sold is X thousand copies sold, regardless of platform...

So, Gamestop will get the Ocarina of Time pre-order pack.

Word is Amazon has the Twilight Princess set, so I'd assume Best Buy has the Skyward Sword set.

So did anyone grab a copy of the game yet? Legend Mode should take like about 10 hours; the big bulk of the game is Adventure Mode which is surprisingly tough! Right now I'm in the process of getting Lana's third weapon.

Also the main bad guys Cia, Wizzro and Volga are going to be playable. Here's Cia's trailer:

Finished Legend Mode, but still work on getting the 2nd Skulltullas, I'm at the Hylia Lake "As Impa with Sword, keep Sheik alive while kill Dodongo in 3 Minutes" one atm. *sigh* I have to level Impa a lot more...

Adventure Mode is something I still have to play more... Got only Ruto and Agitha, as well as the Gauntlets and the 2nd Rod for Link.

From what I saw in other forums... there are still a few people who complain about Cia's dress and Lana being "not a Zelda character".

Aaaand sometimes complaining on the internet helps, as I managed to get this damn Skulltulla.
Sheik somehow decide to not be an idiot and didn't ran towards Zelda but stayed back to mop up some Stalkids instead... Also level 43 Impa made short work out of Dodongo...
