And I'm also glad hichigo didn't come out (fully). I think that shouldn't be overused for a filler arc.
But what was up with his eyes? Has that ever happened before or after(Manga?)? Is that something the filler's team came up with?
And then the sealing of joukaishou: last episode (or so) they said the captains are needed to seal those and now ukitake makes sentaro and whatsername do the sealing (afaik they're not even VCs). What's up with that again? If they can do it they could have made more teams to seal the joukaishou all at once (or am I missing something important?).
Well it's over now and everything will be fine I hope.

Byakuya did not show any new techniques. It was just him controlling his bankai how he normally does, except he incased Kariya completely and drove him to the ground. If I remember correctly he did the same thing to Ichigo, but before he could bring him down, he defeated it

I'm not entirely sure, but I think Ichigo's Hollow side only manifested itself once in the filler, and that was against Koga and Daruku. So another manifestation including the mask wouldn't exactly be over using it..and Ukitake doesn't have an actual vice captain, its mainly Sentaro and Kiyone competing with each other for the spot

Is it me or Ichigo vs Kariya's fight is just a rip-off from the Ichigo vs Byakuya's one? They recycled lots of scenes of sure... Too funny Shirosaki's interference: "You suck!" he told Ichigo...

yeah that was the best off 108

The Fight between ichi and kariya was lame.But in all a nice filler

The best of all the Bounto filler was KENPACHI VS. ICHINOSE

To be honest I haven't been watching the anime since Episode 89 or so, and all the constant summaries provided here always satisfy my fill. haha ^__^

But I really want to know what Rukia explained, so I think I'll download it. Thanks! ^___^

Haha, this reminded me of DBZ. The deserted desert with the dust clouds, the fighters going too fast for the human eye and onlookers not interfering for whatever reason. Now we just need them all to have synchronized eye movements

Also we have the two people who conveniently vanish, (Byakuya and Yoruichi) show up again together just to stand and watch. Haha, ah well. Nevertheless it exceeds expectations (were there that many?) and I liked it ^.^

No bleach until next year

Hopefully we'll now see both naruto and bleach non-filler eps in January -07

We NEED an Emo chad . He is like an android in the whole series ... . Also noticed how Ishida stopped making jibbs at Kurosaki , its not that he has new found respect for Ichi or anything .

Kariya's "Messer" is the German word for knife. actually, it's kind of specifically a table knife (like butter knife) but it doesn't matter, cuz they mean it as knife and it works that way.

i had been hoping all this time that kariya would just be sealed away somewhere so they could bring him back for a movie later on... so much for that.

i liked this ep a lot. i don't know what you're all complaining about. 64 to 108... it took too long to get here, but it was a good fight. so 109 will just be a transition ep? then 110 gets us back to the manga it sounds like. should be good animation quality again!

I believe it was me who made that comparison and then recieved negative feedback for it. Oh well. I still stand by what I said, Ichigo is invincible because the author has MCSSJS (Main Character Super Saiyan Jin Syndrome). Ichigo is invincible and utterly boring to watch fight simply because he can't lose. The difference between Ichigo and other main characters in similar Shounens is that Ichigo is unable to use his head. I have yet to see him win a fight strategically. He just pumps out reiatsu after reiatsu like he has an infinite supply. This is very boring.

Ichigo's only saving grace must be his inner demon, Hichigo. Atleast that guy is pretty cool and very fun to watch, he is crazy

Another bleach rant I have is about Chad.

Is it just me or does he stink of filler-itis? I swear everytime I see him in the series I think I'm watching a filler episode. Not only is he completely useless, but he is also incredibly boring to watch. He has no interesting skills whatsoever. Why does he exist? The anime team must agree with me because they didn't even let him fight. Atleast the incredibly annoying doll trio had some purpose in the arc. Chad did nothing and in my eyes will always be seen as a filler character.

Now on to the Kariya fight. I must agree with the few who compared this to the Byakuya/Ichigo fight. I too can see alot of re-used scenes, but I did like the "you suck" line from Hichigo, hes so badass, I can't wait for the manga to start again.

Err... I probably meant that in a different way than you understood. Let's just say that I get a bad feeling if they use a plotdevice in the filler (aka not written by original artist) which the original artists might have further plans with.
I didn't really like the bount arc very much (because the bount don't really fit in my view of the Bleach universe and because of the sometimes crappy quality and because of plotholes... but not because it's filler) but I don't hold anything against fillers in principle.

Just to clarify:
"Messer" is the German term for "knife" it's not specifically a term for "table knife".
"Messer" is used for all kinds of knives including combat knives. It's defined as a handle with a one-edged blade.
In fact the English term "knife" is derived from the Middle High German term "kneip".
