It was nice. Good episode. I like at the beginning when they show the map and the arrow with sasuke's destiny theme. ^^

However, I dont very like the ennemies. I thought they would have a nice jutsu or anything else. But a weapon...I meant...its exactly the same thing as Naruto The first movie..

What I can see...Naruto is just breaking up the gay armor like the movie and then Lee will knock him out.

Let’s see how this episode would have gone if some fanboys had their way.

Temari beats the other wind girl in two moves. Kankuro beats the fey boy in the first move. Gaara kills his opponent in the first move. He catches up with the joker that stole his student, kills him, and the sand sibs return to Suna.

The Konoha ninja never arrive and just wander around the forest. We don’t get any Gaara/Lee interaction. No ShikaTema vs. ShikaIno. No Kiba two-headed doggie. No payback to the sand sibs. No nothing. The episode would be about 5 minutes and they would have to fill the rest with Naruto ramen comedy.

Not very interesting, huh?

I think if said fanboys had their way, there wouldn't have been any such episode to begin with, as the concept was pretty flawed. I could care less though, as I don't hold the anime in very high esteem anyway. However if I take the time to watch something, I reserve the right to speak my opinion about it.

Well personally I would have prefered it that way except for the Naruto ramen comedy part.
Past the unoriginality of the plot I think the reason I don't like this episode is the ridiculous vib I get from these vilains. I mean I half expect their weapons to transform into robot or something

I like this episode but the villains; don't deserve to carry the name Shinobi. They use tiny amounts of Chakra and there weapons do it for them. It's stupid. No thought or anything. Can't wait to see Gaara in REAL action once the Manga joins with the anime and continues...

I am muchos liking this arc . This arc is shaping up good hope it doesnt end in an anti-climax . After a long time I rated a naruto ep above 7 O:
