JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a pretty notorious one for me now. Though I don't think it's because people think it's bad because everyone I know who's read it considers it one of the best shounen series ever made.

It's lack of popularity is probably because it hasn't had much exposure outside of Japan. The manga went without an anime adaptation for 25 years too.

Although Dog&Scissors wasn't a particularly great anime because of the poor production values and there's some things deemed "wasted potential" in my book, the concept was actually quite unique (an animal companion being the harem lead and the fact that the high school setting wasn't used for the majority of the series) and I did like character interactions a lot. There's also magical girl shows I watched in the same season as this, although they are more ignored than hated, though I find them okay. Super Seisyun Brothers was also one of the things to be forgotten when it recently finished but I remember liking it because it was very simple both visually and written and I got a few exciting bursts with it.

Everyone hates Redline?

That is certainly news to me. Everyone I've ever talked to about the movie loves it. It's more of an underappreciated piece, relatively few people have seen it. Which is a shame.

You know, Devil Survivor 2... I'm enjoying the show so far. Sure, it's not amazing, but the pacing is good and a lot happens per episode. Hibiki is still likeable. His friends wish to assist him regardless of dangers. Yamato and Ronaldo are douches yet that is acknowledged and caused Hibiki to think what is better for him.

Maybe it's because this is the opposite of Valvrave where I felt like punching some characters while guys like Lelf got away with shooting a girl in the head and using his allies as meat shields. So I'm a bit biased.

Elfen Lied. I can understand all the hate for not being well adapted from the far superior Manga, but it was still a decent watch.

I myself don't understand what all the dislikes leveled against SoniAni: Super Sonico The Animation is about. It's a relaxing show about random topics that ends up being quite entertaining in its own right.

Yu yu hakisho is my favorite by far but I have seen a lot of people that dislike it and I don't know how. Only thing I disagreed with was the ending seemed rushed but other than that I think it was really good.
