That was bad, it seems like they rushed everything into the finale with the action but I wasn't sold on it. The Aria/Akira has some moments but felt way too fast as well.

At least it only took them half way through the episode to remember that Akari's sister was dying . I know her constantly going over it during these fights would have been annoying, but not even once? Heck Aria's the one who brought it up and handled things.

Well in the end that was pretty average. It was ok enough. They teamed up, brought down the crazy mech girl and life goes on. Akari's yuri stalker friends are still themselves, though at least Akari did some nice work in getting herself that full time Amica position.

As a whole the show was kind of forgettable. I'd say the original HnA was actually better even with Aria being a bit more over the top tsundere.

Mech Girl didn't seem to know how to use her own mech. I mean, she knew how to operate it, obviously, but she didn't know how to use it well. Play to its strengths and overcome its weaknesses.

Not a bad show on the whole, but I be hard pressed to call it a true gem. The Yuri romantic comady was pretty good, but sometimes action was lacklustre.

There was interesting stuff in here, but I think the places where the anime faltered definitely stand out more than the places where it handled itself well. I thought substituting Akari's gun for the generic token thing from the manga as the item she needed to get back from Aria to complete her Amica test was an inspired choice, but although the events of episode 9 were good, it still didn't turn out to have the impact I thought it might.

Also WTF random boss fight out of nowhere with someone you've never heard of before who has no relevance to the rest of the series.

Eh. I'll stick with the manga.

Mediocre action series, good yuri comedy.
