The books take a turn for the more serious romance stuff after book 3 (which is certainly the weakest in the series). Book 4 was my favourite, with a nice mix, and books 6-7 have dropped most of the comedy.

Thanks for GG for subbing this, since their quality is good and are fast ^_^ I was hoping that GG would sub a certain anime that they did one episode because another certain anime was cancelled for a week...but if it's ToraDora I'm happy. I shouldn't complain about fansubs x]

Hey, I enjoyed that. As well as to the novelist, I'm going to give some credit to Okada Mari, the lead writer, who also wrote true tears. Director Nagai Tatsuyuki did Honey & Clover 2 and Idolmaster Xenoglossia.

I liked the Nagi-like combination of vulnerability and tsuntsun from Kugimiya-san. Not the same voice as Nagi, but a similar feeling in that respect.

I thought the character design and animation worked well.

I feel your avatar is bit too dark so I light it up a bit. You may use it if you like.

I was more tired of its writting than its plots. I may pick it up again if anime goes well and restore my enthusiasm.

Reading is one of my hobbies other than anime+manga.

If I got some free time I might read books, fantasy fiction mostly. Enjoy Charles de Lint's books a lot despite usual crappy endings (Blue Girl is the only exception to date). Recently finished The Court of Air by Stephen Hunt, it's a nice book but disappointing with its unfair ending for Molly.

Thanks a lot!

As I rewatched the episode, I noticed they skipped a capital scene for the character building of one of the supporting characters...
Spoiler for spoiler?:

They messed with Yusaku's character design, it just looks so wrong, I can't forgive them for this, but will continue watching.

For sure, but Taiga's way cuter than Louise! (And a lot less annoying too! )

I don't think so, he looks more like a villain in the anime, in the manga he looks pretty normal.

I like Taiga much more than Louise, but then again it is probably just my view of Louise according to the anime.
The novel is much more serious.

That will depend on how many eps too. Shorter series means a lot of scenes and characters will be cut off; it might impede the impression most of people getting from reading the novel. Personally I think the manga rendition of the characters is the best.

But this is interesting to watch a female novelist ideal of good man in anime setting.

Yeah, in the manga he was a little too much of a bishounen. The anime version is much more faithfull to the spirit of the novel than the manga concerning our Dragon

I am totally fond of the way they are playing with the viewing angles to make him like he's meneacing people (the wallets...the girls in school...pure laugh ).

Yeah that scene with the wallets was funny and he finds a lot of them
He could be an underworld boss if he wanted to be one ... but he seems only to be a house cleaner

Ups my fault, I am bad with names but still Takasu looks better in the anime ... better like how he should look.

Ryuji was the one that look like a villain when

Spoiler for :

But my impression, They did a awesome job on this. I hope that this can contiune this pattern except Ryuji getting hit on the head by Taiga all the time.

10 out of 10.
