I was very satisfeid with this episode as once again the pace and direction of the show have taking a turn for the worst. My biggest fear was that the writers would try to play up the drama too much and do something completely out of context but to my joy this has not happened.
Hiromi has a new found confidence which i was 100% sure she would gain when she moved out. This was the best thing for her as she gets her own space and gets to do things on her own terms. Also, its not awkward in the house with Shin and Shins mom. Now she can come over to help and while helping out she can become closer with Shins mom. Ironically, she can now get closer with Shin as well since its not so much a conflict of interest with her living under the same roof. Hiromi knows what she wants and is making steps towards it. The breakfast scene followed by the kiss are all the evidence we need. Her breakup with Jun went as most of us predicted Jun did resist at first but Hiromi unleashed the psychological attack. Hiromi realized long ago who was in Juns heart and played that card brilliant i say. But i have to props to Jun for stepping in at the game that was very cool and quite chivalrous of him. Noe seems to have hit a brick wall and is not sure what to do with her self. At first i thought she was going crazy but it looks like her grief over realizing who is in Shins heart plus knowing that Hiromi is the person that can help Shin fly was too much. Ironically, I think the problem is she cant cry we all know a good cry to chase away a lot of worries but Noe cant. I expect her meeting with Shin with the start of the final resolution. Im hoping that Shin's completed picture book which she supported him on is enough to make her cry and i hope Noe is finally able to get Shin to understand who he should be with. Aiko and Nobu went exactly as i and i think 2 others had hoped. Nobu is a great guy and Aiko is a very sweet girl. If he manages to win her over this time it will be on his own merit not someone elses at that point i will say he truly deserves her. I am glad Aiko asked to start over as friends it shows the growth of the characters which is something i must have in a drama if Im going to give it high marks. Hiromi looked adorable in glasses btw and in the preview her in a Kimono is just as as cute now the long week of pain and anguish till the next episode. Solid 9/10

Quoted for truth. I iked how there wasn't really any dramatic buildup. It was completely natural, as if it were a daily occurrence. Teehee! I felt warm and fuzzy feelings~
Though yeah, the events are making me a little confused in regards to how it'll turn out in the end. Either way, I'll keep watching the show! |

Well in terms of from Noe's pov I believe it is Shin saying to her in not so many words he is unable to fly. As I think that Raigo represents him, but the question is who is Jibeta? I guess it represents Noe, but that's not a nice ending!

I dont think Shin will leave the ending as such (Jibeta falling and "the end"). He knew it was a bad end, and he was going to tell Noe about it. Maybe Noe will tell him how to make it a good end... Thoughts? |

I don't think Jibeta represents Hiromi as her story was 1 page long. Also the chicken story kinda says that reality caught up with jibeta and he became a pancake. There was no fairy tale ending. Jibeta's escape is more like Noe's grandma's as in flying/escape via death...

Okay, the kiss and the reaction by Kou'ichiro. It was a look of surprise on Shin's face. It wasn't happiness, warmness, or anything. Also, he had Noe on his mind during that time. This whole episode brought me into another state of confusion again. Things are going along well with Hiromi, but why they does he keep on thinking about Noe throughout? It's as if he is wavering in his feelings. I really hope they don't try to make a switch in the end to surprise us all. This is driving me crazy! I love it! This is going to be a very long week... Aiko and Nobuse = win all around with that one. Jun = get a grip and get a clue. Yes, he did a cool thing at the basketball game, but his purpose is wrong and he needs to figure that out. March 23 just won't come soon enough...

now so confused, I wonder what's next, more Jun, more Hiromi, more Noe
even if HiromixShin probably obvious, me still rooting for Noe, good for Ai, seems to be a happy ending there......I just hope this end the next week and last ep for the final couple

Ok.... this is so stupid. What the hell is wrong with that guy Shin.
Why is he so indecisive? He just got Spoiler for ep. 11:
and yet he is acting like nothing happened. When someone did that to you, the proper thing to do is go back to her place and do the same thing. The writers are probably just delaying or trying to come up with things to stall time. Since it looks pretty much cliche at this point on. What would probably happen is that Hiromi and Shin will be officially dating at the festival. Why? Cuz that's their childhood thing. In fact, that's the only childhood moment they have that they kept playing and playing. It makes sense that the story of hiromi and shin stopped at the festival and will continue at the festival also. Anyway, I still want to see how the picture book is going to turn out. How he is going to dance in the festival. However, I'm no longer interested in what will happen to Noe. She is my favorite character but now the writers are just ruining her. I don't even want to know since it looks down hill from here and maybe at the end, she will smiling because she can cry again. So cliche. |

@Fuzzy - Heh not only did he act like nothing happened, he was flashbacking to Noe instead.
My romdar (ROMantic raDAR) is now saying I think Noe is in with a bigger chance. This epi has been undermining the Hiromi x Shin scenario and the preview looks to be building up Hiromi's hopes. Me thinks they are going to try to add some more spice to the show by dashing them in a spectacular way and maybe Jun is the person who ends up picking up the pieces?

I'd say that Jibeta is probably Hiromi as well. She tried to move out and live on her own, but apparently moved back in.
Though I supported her at first because of her long hair and osana najimi power, Hiromi's lost a lot of my support due to her new Megane-wielding. I still don't really support Noe either, though, so I guess I'll still be in the Hiromi crowd (though with less fervor) because she at least had her glasses off in that one scene on the pier (or whatever it was, sea wall?). |

Right now Shin is feeling guilty about hurting Noe because he himself was too weak to go after what he wanted and let things progress to this state. He was berating himself for not doing things properly in that scene when he was standing in Hiromi's empty room that she used to live in at his house. Jibeta doesn't necessarily represent anyone. The main point is that Raigomaru was just too much of a chicken to step up and try, which is a fancy way for Shinichiro to say "Hell no I won't ever think about flying again."
Shinichiro has little fondness for that kind of end, apparently. Noe seems to have reached her limit (a bit too extreme?). But it's not the last episode so no one should be dying here (except for Jibeta) Still supporting Noe, despite all the remarks about the predictable shinXhiromi ending, about which I don't really care anymore. She's still my favorite character |
