touma is a lost cause anyway, and the star of that series is and always will be misaka. Anyone getting their hopes up for any kind of resolution for touma with a girl is gonna be left sad and depressed. Touma's too busy playing super hero to any damsel in distress to focus on any 1 girl.

thats why i like this series, we have our couple already and neither are stupid or ignorant of the others feelings. Now we can focus our their journey together

Touma just can't buy him love. Such misfortune.

It really seems like we've seen an amazing amount of development in this series. We were introduced to someone who seems like the head boss villain in episode two, the hero has already gone from wimp to GAR to a declaration of love, and we're getting a beach episode in episode 4.

but for me the beach episode is just too fast or too early. Their aren't that many cast introduced yet. But maybe we will get another after some cast introduction but that will only lower the value of another beach event.

Halfway through episode 3, i got confused, i was expecting "rose" to whip out a wooden sword and beat the black dragon up, and look towards ryuuji with frightening eyes and call him inu.

then i remembered, i wasn't watching toradora, i was watching a whole new anime, although rie was again playing the role of a tsunder-loli and the ryuji in this series was not somebody who can cook really well but somebody who was swinging a dragon fang.

the only thing that is different now is that "rose" has yet to show her tsun-tsun side, its mostly dere dere from ep1.

ok now that my rant is over, i'll go back and watch kugimiya as Happy. Aye!

Bit too much of a 180 from Ryuji for my liking, but at least the emo session didn't last long *phew*

If there is no tsun and only dere then she is not a tsundere.

The 1st and 2nd quote are the same thing, and so apparently we learn that the powerup can happen between humans and dragons as well. Also, as far as i know it's not a temporary contract between the 2 since they get those seals on their hands and we see it being used in the OP. As for rose, Onyx just manipulated her emotions and her doubts which ryuji didnt help with. She was still mostly just trying to keep ryuji out of harms way and was trying to convince herself she couldnt be with him. That's why she was so fast to jump into his arms once he confessed.

Would be cool to see Onyx again as a non-villain. He was proved wrong that all humans and dragons hate each other, and the engagement seal was destroyed. I also think he never actually had a thing for Rose, and from what I got it wouldn't have worked anyway if both dragon partners aren't willing to engage.

I usually like Rie Kugimiya characters but I'm not liking Rose so far.
It's like the difference between:
Cute
Tastes Like Diabetes

Rie Kugimiya is usually Tsundere, but this time is more Deredere (lovestruck).

Well... it's not "tsundere" yet... mostly because...
Rose is just starting to learn the human language... see episode 1... all Rose can say was Ryuji...
Rose started to learn the human language and is now able to communicated to a certain degree.

By time... Rose will start to be Tsundere as she learns more words so that she can use them as emotions. (at least I hope she'll go Tsun-Tsun soon... lol)

I disagree. I hope Rose doesn't go tsundere. I'd rather she mature her personality without it undergoing such a drastic alteration.

yeah it was totally the language barrier keeping her from being tsun....

I pretty sure its the unrestrained affection/love and obedience to ruyji thats keeping her from being tsun.

she has done quite a few non tsundere roles, but her problem is most of her iconic roles are tsunderes: louise, shana, and taiga

Rose is like what Manic said about being very possessive and wanting to chase away the other girls that hang around Ryuuji. Since he did blurt out that he "loves" her, and she went into a rant of "I love you" afterwards.

With enough confidence and the right motivation, Ryuji was able to wield a Level 10 weapon that is able to cut anything. Meanwhile, Onyx was able to persuade Rose to give up on Ryuji and marry him. Apparently, marriage between two dragons would unlock the the powers of the dragon. Ryuji and the others were able to barge into the room just in time before the wedding commenced. Here, Onyx tells the truth about dragons and humans, in which the professor had to cover the camera to hide the lecture. It makes me wonder that something similar must have happened to him, and it ended on a bad note. Even with the many times that Rose said she hates him. Ryuji still cares about her and tells her that he loves her. He shatters the necklace that binds her and Onyx in the engagement, which infuriates him as he turns into a dragon. Love is what makes the world go round, for it was love that made Rose show her dragon wings for the first time and made the two form a temporary contract that boosts the dagger's power. The kiss of a dragon would heal any wound.
