It might be because all decent anime either are already based on a manga, or has a manga based on them already. Of course the creators would want to rake in the cash if their anime series is good enough, right?

Speaking of which, Kiddy Grade had two different manga, maybe three. The two I saw were not as good as the anime, unfortunately. One was fun, but was basically a comedy. The other was serious, but kind of dull.
That's an interesting question, though. I can think of a ton of anime that I wish had better manga, like Stellvia, but not too many that don't have one that I'd want to see. Hmm...I'm not aware of a Shamanic Princess manga. If it's out there, I would love to see it! |
