sorry don't have one... i'm looking for one too... but you can always try xanga... its pretty cool there...

in regards to live journal... if you don't have the code... i think you can still join by paying a fee... but if you don't want to pay then you can sign up on xanga... they have a free basic package or if you wanna upgrade.. they have a premium one as well for a fee.

Well I don't know anyone who has a spare account, but my friend uses Free Open Diary and I guess that doesn't really help...well I hope that you find someone who does or you can always try either PiGGiE's or my suggestion.

I used to have a blog there but I stopped. And don't even think of looking me up there 'cos it's under a completely different name!

I had a blog at blogger.com for a good year and a half until it broke on me So my friend was kind enough to set me up with another account of MovableType. You can download it for free, but you have to know a great deal of perl and FTP as well. I'm very happy with MT I have yet to have any problems with it. And you can make your own layouts which I love doing.

With LJ you can't only change the colors, you have to pay to re-arrange the code to your liking. Blogger.com is free, but sometimes it has problems with its servers and gives you some cooky errors as well. Well, I think I covered everything lol

wnkryo: Web Log ... an online Journal of sorts. Quality varies immensly, often full of rubbish but sometimes quite interesting reading (if you're nosy). Kind-a like a forum where only one person makes threads and everyone else just comments on them.

actually it was derived in that order so people understand:
-Web Log
-We Blog
-Blog

It became almost a casual term like google...

Example: Guy at school saying :"Ill blog that!"

...Is one example of a blog, and what NOT to do. Personally, I don't read them much mainly the fact that most people don't have anything interesting to tell. (And if they do, it's 100% that it won't be in the blog. )

Blogs are more used for venting when you don't want to do it in real life. I don't know why people would want to read about the daily events of a stranger, not to mention that most of them aren't really that interesting to read.

Completely beats me. Maybe the same reason why Big Brother* was so successful in many countries? Maybe it lies in the human nature to be curious about other people? I for one read only the funny blogs, and scarcely at that.

You could always take it out on small children in the neighbourhood (Look, i even used the British word with the 'u', just for you^^), but you don't. So we can say in conclusion that Blogs make the world a bit more friendly because it offers you a chance to vent your anger, no?

Yes the funny blogs are what its all about. I like blogs that my friends have. You can learn alot more about someone through a blog because some people like to express themselves through writing.
