LOL, I just watched EP3 again and I was surprised that they parodied 24's "clock" for the episode. Even the beep sounds the same XD Great series so far.

I am so looking forward to the Sasahara X Ogiue development. Episode 3 was great not as funny as episode 2 but it was still great. Im so glad Genshiken is back any real anime fan MUST WATCH I COMMAND IT. Production budget looks pretty good i think we have winner again.

Ah I gave up on any attempt at rationalizing traps when I was exposed to jun...

I'm curious how far the anime is going to get though...I kinda purposely didnt read the last volume of the manga, so I could be surprised.

Considering that they are introducing some key characters earlier than the original manga, I'm pretty sure the anime will cover all the way to the end.
Which is a great thing.

Wow, almost completely original episode. And still excellent.
The anime takes relationship development deeper than the original manga, and that's a good thing.

The whole virgin talk and not knowing how to do it was rather cute, and unexpected.
The eroge scene.... omg, I feel sorry for Tanaka. What a torture!

As a long time fan of Genshiken since it first started serializing in Afternoon, I really love the direction this second season is moving at.
I had high expectations, and so far, it's exceeding it.

EDIT: ZOMG I just noticed it... the script for this original episode was done by the original manga artist himself!

This ep was sheer win all around, and noticeably better than the previous ones. The humor was on-point, Sasahara wasn't in the driver's seat, and it just felt like Genshiken again.

Tanaka is just awesome, admitting he wants those titties like the rest of us oversexed hetero males

And that whole eroge playing scene with Ohno was pure torture. Ten whole hours...I would've caved at ten seconds At least he scored in the end.

I want to know what eroge Tanaka played to learn how to french kiss like that

Episode 4 was really quite excellent... of course all of Genshiken is, but I liked the way this episode developed that relationship. ^^

oh wow, at first I'm quite bored with episode 4, thinking that it's just the love development between Ohno and Tanaka as seen previously in the manga; but later it turned out to be something we never seen in the manga. Poor Tanaka for being cornered to play the eroge (10 straight hours? oh my, spare me). The ending part certainly is nice, seeing Ohno turned up cosplaying as the eroge character.

Overall this is another good episode to watch, but certainly I'm eager for episode 5 after watching the preview:

You know, while watching this episode i had the feeling that it could easily fit into volume four, at the time that we find out about the two dating, but wow --- actually wrote by Kio himself? That's just.. wow.

Anyway, OHNO BRA AND UNDERWEAR. It's times like this, and the kiss scene that you can tell Genshiken 2 is being done by a porn studio.

Hm, didn't like ep4. It was well done, and the development was logical, but there are romances that give me good vibes, and then there are ones like this that give me the killing urges. Well, this too was pointed out in the very same episode, and I understand all too well, so in the end I just gotta love this anime.
