Okay, new opening = cool.

A little off topic, but if you want to play Japanese mahjong against a computer and are tired of the old mahjong flash game, search for a Japanese ero game named Lime-iro Jankitan. Get that, get the same game, and you can play mahjong against 3 characters from Lime-iro Senkitan. It's just as over the top, and dramatic as Saki. The comments of the players are awesome. Try it, thank me later.

If you are talking about Diebuster then isn't it "Grooooooooooooovin' Magic"?

There's also one for To Love-Ru and Haruhi but I can't for the life of me find out what they are called or I'd try them out. Even the games homepage seems to list everything but the damn title of the game, which you think would be important.

Hm? The homepage is pretty clear the To Love-Ru game's name is 脱! とらぶる雀 and the Haruhi one is 涼宮ハルヒの脱衣

Ah the wonders one can work when they have the power to copy/paste. Thanks a bunch.

Of course I would try out the Saki one too, but since it seems to be lacking in Koromo I'm not really interested.

It reminds me of Moomin... or for whatever reason, Puru Puru Pururi~n.

(try Googling Moomin yourself... it's too furry and bizarre for me to link here )

just watched the 10th ep. if they insist on doing one player per ep this is going to take a while. on the other hand, Koromo... SO CUTE!!!! can't wait for the inevitable meeting of the mahjong auras next ep when she returns the penguin.

looks like we'll see the president's chops next ep too.

If they go with this pace, I have a feeling Hisa's match won't even last more than one episode. I feel uneasy when thinking about how they will span the next 2 matches in 14 episodes.

Ehhm, why 14 episodes? Current tournament is still only prefecture preliminaries, what about nationals and preparation for it?

Cause the anime is following the manga and the manga hasn't even got passed Saki's round in the prefecture preliminaries. This means that if Hisa's round only takes 1 episode .. the next 14 episodes will be about Nodoka's and Saki's matches. They'll probably fill episodes up with background here and there from various characters .. but those 2 matches will still be the main focus for the rest of the season.

I'm not sure whether the scanlators bothered to translate these, but in the actual physical manga there's a special comic underneath the dust jacket involving Yuuki and flying walrus monsters and some quest for magical tacos...

Now THAT would make for a good filler episode .

It's not a walrus, it's a tacos-eating Capybara.
