ARENA 02: Gokō Ruri, Kiriya Nozomi [Sengoku Nadeko, Holo] (OreImo sucks. Really, the first few episode is good but the last few really fails it. At least Kureneko got some points from me but heck, Nadeko and Horo is much better character than those two..)
ARENA 03: Kōsaka Kirino, Yamada Aoi [Hiiragi Kagami, Shiina Minatsu] (Simple choice, Kirino = Annoying bitch girl who always beats up her brother "just" to show her tsundereness, which is annoying if its between family. As for Yamade, I just didn't watch Working yet....)

Hell yeah, ISML is back. What I'm really looking forward to this year is seeing how the K-ON characters, and especially defending champion Mio, will fare without an ongoing series to help them. Last year they had the benefit of an ongoing series to enhance their popularity. Without that this year, I'm interested to see if they'll be able to continue their dominance. Also looking forward to the ISML debut of Tachibana Kanade and I hope for a good showing from her.

Here's to another rage-inducing year of ISML!

While that technically means I prefer newer girls, that's mostly because I don't like many of those older choices anyway. I was wondering who Goko Ruri was, realised it was Kuroneko, heh. That was hard picking her over Holo.

It was a necessary change for variety of reasons. Simply stated, just using wins and SDO no longer became fair enough for 2011 regular season.

We have a tough decision here. While we realize that the anime never revealed Kuroneko's name, if her name were to be revealed in the future, we can't simply leave it alone (that would mean using a nickname over a real name) and we can't simply change it either because of inconsistency (Nagisa and Fate's names were kept the same through the years). So avoid all the naming problems later on, we'll just use her real name.

I don't personally mind changes in the format, since I'm sure you guys do it for the best. Can't even really comment on the necklace changes until we actually start proper, which is a while away so it'll be interesting just seeing how it goes.

So...Goko Ruri's her real name? I just assumed I missed it in some episode. It wasn't a big deal, just took a couple seconds to realise, you guys put the show name in anyway. Plus Goko Ruri sounds like an awesome name!
