Well I’m glad myself for other reasons, it would be too distracting since I should be studying for my exams ^^ but sometimes I put anime first in priority which isn't a wise decision.

I don't feel the need for this series to end on cliffhanger.

and I disagree with s1 ending of druaga being a reset. While the plot hasn't taken any major leap in plot but it did add another layer to the story, the bretayals, the coffins and Gils role in Druaga. To me its more of a continuation or an extention if your treating both season as one complete season rather thinking of each as individual, as Jil said the story has only just started.

It is 24 episodes long. The main villians has been introduce, the hero teams are set up and the revolution has started. All thats left are more details on the 3 knights and rest of the story should be dealing with zargin.

side note: never knew Kana Hanazawa played Elea, she sounds so different from her role as Shiika from mushiuta or sora from sketch book.

yeah i kinda read some of what it's about in my anime insider magazine, which i get up and walk all the way to the store to get, lol I'm die hard xD

I'm really siked that the character design and chief animation director Naoyuki Onda, that designed for ergo proxy and wolf's rain is working on this!

can't wait to finally find time to see it.

Just had a look at the 2chan caps. Whoa. Worst comes to worst, eh? 'SNAFU' takes a whole new meaning here...

The entire XAT team has been decimated, and with no hero to save the day at the last minute - and BOTH Brad and Al were contaminated, although I must say they really proved their mettle by fighting the infection out after Wolf showed up outside the building. Really, those two were definitely people worthy of admiration...I have yet to see whether they made it out, but I am not keeping high hopes on this.

The team, otherwise, is laying in shambles - nothing too surprising as the other team members had been coughing next to each other in that storage room for several hours - and those who didn't catch the flu got the short end of the stick the moment they went outside, save for Amanda if my memory serves me well. She's the only one who seems to have run out unscathed and unhindered. Heck, even Hermann...oh, well, you'll see.

Aside from that, as expected, Joseph is truly the underdog here as he ONCE AGAIN got beat up by Beatrice. And I'm starting to get truly annoyed by Xargin. I have nothing against villains that have to make a dramatic appearance at the heart or the conclusion of a battle, but does he always have to ride in with a HORSE to do so? That is so...*shakes head*

Jeez, take a car, man. Or better yet, a Pimp My Ride'd motorcycle!

Blast to the past. It had a long time coming and it may prove to be too abrupt with the cliffhanger concerning XAT and Amanda's escape, but it seems we'll finally address the root of the problem and harken back to the beginning of it all.

EDIT 1: episode is now out on Crunchyroll. I'm waiting for YouTube to pick up but it seems it'll require a few more minutes before it'll show up in the uploader's video list.

Well, Blassreiter always managed to surprise me in that the situation is actually even worse than I thought. And THIS episode was extra successful.

I must say that, indeed, that mix of tragedy/drama and action is one hell of an efficient, explosive blend - really a refreshing change from the angsty, simplistic moments you'd see in shows like Gundam. I'm truly impressed with how they dealt the recent episodes; the gritty realism used in conjunction with the sinking sense of resignation (as we only know a couple of the XAT team members will survive) they used here is something I had yet to come across and I'm glad I elected Blassreiter as a show to keep an eye on. It's a jewel in its own right.

If only more people could come and watch this...*sigh*
I guess they'd rather stick to shows with lolis and whatnot...
