First episode of Ai's part was just like the manga, with a little bit added towards the end. Very pleased with Yukana's performance. :wub:

Ai and Jun personally have the best interaction, and saying that i can't wait to see a few certain scenes animated.

Yukana made me love the character Ai even more. She sounded just like how I imagined her to be. This episode gets 9/10. It had a few moments where I was like "eh"?, but overall it still puts me under a spell. Ai's ending was very catchy, though. Was Yukana singing that one? If so,

ai's arc is definitely better than kaoru and sae's arc. Waiting for rest of arc before deciding if its better than haruka's :x

what i like most from the first episode is Junichi. He isnt goofy/falls in love in a second (haruka), kinda weird (kaoru) or unbelievably grating (sae) in this arc. imo he is most real in this arc, with his interaction with the people in this arc (getting ass-slapped by kaoru, teasing miya in the manga reading scene). Hopefully the rest of the arcs will have a bearable, even slightly likable, junichi like this one.

and yeah, kinda weird how Ai's behaviour changes so quickly in this arc. i would have rather her behaviour change happened later in the arc. it seems like most of the arcs will have the characters realizing their feelings early on and then spending the rest of the arc trying to tell each other/get together. Haruka's was most balanced in this aspect, the 2 stages split evenly into 2 episodes (1 and 2 junichi getting rejected and stuff while 3 4 they start kinda going out. the other arcs feel like they ended not long after getting together.)

wow... Ai's personality changes so quickly that is can surprise anyone... I liked how Miya wanted to remind Junichi of winning the prize for a trip to Hawaii by writing on his forehead

I also love Ai's cute expressions, they can make anybody nose-bleed

I give this episode a 9/10

Watched the episode again, and I still don't really understand her switch. There were two scenes before the skirt flip. the first was the lunchroom, where Ai pretty much owned Junichi, borderline insulting him. Then there was the scene with Miya, but Kaoru was running around saying he was trying to grab her ass. She had no reason to believe that he was a better person than he looked. I think she really took a gamble because he was Miya's brother. I can't say I like that, though. So yeah, they made a mistake here. If they followed the manga during the Junichi, Ai, and Miya scene, it would look so much better. But for now, I can't say that I don't agree about her change being sudden.

If we had more than four episodes, then she would probably be meaner for longer.

I really don't think Ai had a change of heart just because she learned that Junichi was Miya's older brother. The skirt flip was directly after the lunchroom scene, so if Junichi being Miya's brother really changed Ai's opinion, then she wouldn't have been as stern as she was in the lunchroom.

Remember that Ai was teasing Junichi from the very beginning at the park, and she smiled when she ran away. It's not like she hated Junichi until this "change" everyone is talking about.

If Ai's "change" really has to be pinpointed to a single event, then I would say that it was the actual skirt lifting scene. Junichi covered his eyes and refused to look at first. The red face from embarrassment also helped his case. It was after that day when Ai decided to ask Miya what kind of person Junichi was.

Well, I never said she hated him. The switch I was talking about was Ai going from Unsure about Junichi to comfortable. The smile at the park was a clue, but it's the type of clue that could mean a number of other things, too. You could have a point about the skirt lifting scene being the event that cleared Junichi in the Anime, though.

Oh that's good to know because there is part with Miya that has significance about the title of this anime and people will be most likely happy to find out about that one the way it should be done. Liking Ai alot more than the previous girl already, due to many reasons.

I like her 'matter of fact' type of speaking, much easier to listen to.
Also she already has a certain level of confidence about herself from the get-go which is always good. I like her hair style.

XFD @ Karou groping Junichi.

Random comments, but she sure warmed herself up to the MC quite fast. Though, that's not really a big deal. Chance encounter, another chance encounter the next day. Girl thinks its fate XD, and she just ends up getting interested in him. Not every romance has to have some list of qualifications for one party to be interested in the other. Just so happens Ai had a few chance encounters back to back with Junichi, and most of those encounters amused her enough to spend more time with him.

And also I know its just a swimming suit underneath, but it still seems like flashing to me even if its not panties. I guess I just lump anything under a skirt as treasure >_>

Miya continues to be the center of attention in whatever scene she's in. Loved the beginning when Junichi was pre-occipied, and the scene goes back to Miya and she just goes "and that's why I think meat buns make the best dinner of all time" out of nowhere. love her meat bun fetish.

ending credits songs is alrite.

current arc in order of favorite:

Karou > Haruka > previous girl..

if it goes on like this, Ai will probably be at the top after this arc.

Ai's first episode was pretty damn good. She's very cute, daring and lovable. Really loved her revealing her swimsuit under her skirt

Also cute Miya scenes, other girls appearing, no annoying narrator - all in all, the best first episode so far. 9/10
