The Genetics would make sense as Gengo Aoi, Maria Lancelot, Ryuuichi Aoi, the Pandora Sisters, Kazuha Aoi, and Kazuya Aoi are all related, if it's through the Genetic material.

3. Erika would be at the most Ryuuichi's surrogate mother, and maybe or not she raised him.

The TRUE Pandora sisters were cloned from Maria's genes, and their bodies artificially cultured and harvested to take on human forms.

1. Still, all or most of the sisters were raised, nurtured, and educated like ordinary human beings.
2. The sisters carry Marias' genes, which that would make the latter the mother of the sisters.
3. It is not mentioned at all if Gengo Aoi also provided some of his genetic material in the conception of all sisters, which more or less likely that he is NOT their biological father. At the most, he maybe their surrogate father.
4. Since Ryuuichi carried the same Marias' genes just like all five True Pandora sisters, then undoubtedly he was their genetic and biological brother, or, at least, their half-brother.

Now, what's confusing is that Kazuya (and very likely Kazuha, as well) is also a manufactured person. That is, he was artificially conceived more or less like Ryuuichi.
I mean did Gengo also did the same thing? Both Kazuha and Kazuyas' embryos were artificially conceived and then were planted inside the womb of a not mentioned woman much like it was for Kudou Erika?

If that's the case, then who is both Kazuya and Kazuha's genetic and biological mother?

Please, if I reread the text again, then don't tell me that the genetic mother has been always Maria all along ...!!! ???

Since she's just met the Nova Commander, it definitely doesn't look good for the Immortal Granny. And as you said, the situation's going from bad to worse, and then some. Frustrating yes, but it definitely shows the grisly reality of war. Anyway, can't wait for the next chapter.

Shinso Tsukune, I totally agree with your first, second, and fourth statements. It is the third statement which left me confused when I first read the spoilers, but thanks to your clarification then I'm now at ease.

So, after all, Kazuya and Kazuha were born the old-fashioned way, the old school way.

After all, Maria is his grandmother and NOT his grandmother/mother which I thought of at first. Hence, Ryuuichi is his father and NOT his father/brother which I thought of at first also.

If Kazuya's birth mother, ended calling him her own child a monster and left the family for good, then I have two possible speculations for that to happen.

1. Her learning the truth came as an unexpected shock to her.
Alternatives:

1. Ryuuichi told her the truth about his conception.
2. Gengo told her the truth about Ryuuichi's conception and borned from Marias' genes.
3. Through her interactions with her daughter Kazuha she found out her child exhibited unusual traits that greatly disturbed her, which finally prompted either Ryuuichi or Gengo to tell her the truth. By that time, she was already pregnant with Kazuya.

2. She found out the truth by surprise and in an unexpected manner, that she couldn't possibly had seen it coming her way less fathom it.

1. She found herself on a bad timing at the wrong place and ended up eavesdropping or peeking at, and thus learning something she shouldn't had.

Cassandra is one of the five Legendary Pandoras created in Lab 13, whose abilities are hundreds of times better than those of their descendants, according to Gengo Aoi anyway. Though I'd say the results speak for themselves.

Cassie Lockheart indeed hasn't been seen in quite some time. My guess is she fled when the small-type Novas appeared. Hopefully we'll learn what became of her and the rest of Platoon 13 in the next few chapters. Until then...

It's just after everything we know now, we still don't have a clear picture. The circumstances between the Aoi family, why Kazuha left with Kazuya, and what is Gengo objective in all this, among others. After seeing how he's acted so far in this manga, I'm not putting much faith in him.

People sometimes have screwed ways of showing affection. Gendo from Evangelion loved his wife so much so that he created a clone of her, and tried to make him and that clone the new Adam and Eve.

Well, from what I can gather from the conversation between Margaret and Gengo, it was Seiga Industries fault that the 12th Nova Clash happened in the first place. Their goal was possibly to take Gengo out of the picture, even though they knew the risks. Besides he flat out told Margaret that he didn't foresee such events. Though during the convo it was starting to be implied that he did know of the risks, but this is not the case.

Of course, he's going to flat out reject it, such notions that would put him in a bad light. However, we can tell from the beginning of this incident, he wasn't shocked that Seiga figured out so much. While everyone else is panicking that the situation was getting out of hand, he's the only one calm and indifferent. It was only until those humanoids showed up that he started freaking out as to him those weren't in his calculations. Also, the fact he went up to the Seiga girl and talked about what she knew and her motives gives rise that he knew what she was up to, and that it was an attack to him. If he really didn't know beforehand, he could genuinely place this as an accident, but he knew it was to call him out. Furthermore, that doesn't change the fact he used the situation to his advantage to make the Pandora transcend.

What honestly sounds more safe, instigating the event himself and have everyone know it was him. They can't prove it, but Gengo would lose face anyway. The other is have someone else do it for you, while making them think it's their own action, and have them take the blame. We can tell Gengo knew the Seiga's had it in for him, and was confident they would discover something he already knew and try to use it against him. It's the manipulation that's never proven, but it's obvious who's the mastermind. Sister Margaret is smart as she put two and two together fairly easily.

Well, with the way Gengo is portrayed I can understand both of your suspicions about him. I admit that he is a cunning bastard, but he isn't an evil man as many people think and Gengo has not given me a reason to think he is.

Well, you'd be a little 'off' too if you had to play with your lover's remains and DNA to such a degree as he had to. Every single Pandora has a piece of her inside of them - it might explain the 'I own you bitches' outlook he seems to have.

He came up with the Valkyrie after the Pandora and so far, both projects have been working out with top of the line results (given the circumstances). All the other ideas that have been tried have fallen flat on their faces and made things worse. It does give him cred for him to say something and have it proven time and time again. He didn't like the E-Pandora crap any more than we did, but who knows how many other similar projects had been carried out that he's had to stop?

He has the air of someone who knows most of the spoilers to a story and is amused by everyone else's reactions to what happens. Even when the Pandora were literally being eaten, he didn't bat an eye - he seemed more like, 'I told you so, idiots'.
