I'm planning on putting it on the wiki soon, but I'm too lazy to browse to read them all...or Wyvern, do you have it typed out in a document? if so could you put the entire piece in a spoiler tag, and I'll get it from there??

the problem is that wyvern wanted to implement the suggestions in translation into his work.. so the best would be ask him.. But I could do it if wyvern would be hesitant to do so by tomorrow..

I hate myself for it, but I can't help myself when it comes to spoilers. I actually would like to hear brief summaries of those two books, could you write some more Tri-Ring?

Well, if you want, I can translate the brief summaries on the inside covers of those two volumes. Just tell me if you need them.

If I recall correctly though, one of the chapter downloads at mangatraders also featured some extras which included summaries for the first seven volumes, so you can try checking that out as well.

Hi everyone hehe. I'll try to post here once in awhile from now on...Anyway

Spoiler for V3 epi:

Lawrence felt that he seemed to understand the reason Deanna collected ancient legends and protected the alchemists.

Yet it would have caused him great pain to speak the reason, and he believed that Horo would also not be willing to hear it.

I saw a bunch of people wondering about that quote over at the BT forum as well, but none of them included the line directly underneath like I have above. This leads me to believe that

he doesn't want to remind Horo that their relationship, like Deanna's, cannot last forever because he is mortal and will die one day. Although the circumstances are different from the situation regarding Deanna and the cenobite, the end result of separation is still the same.

Now I know that what I said above doesn't explain why Deanna collects ancient legends and protects the alchemists, but it's the best I could come up with. Hopefully someone else throws in their own analysis too hehe. Like everyone else, I am extremely grateful to judgement and barbsicle for the translations. Thanks guys

BTW, here's a thought about alchemists..
what was one the basic things alchemists tryed to create ?? The elixir of eternal youth (or elixir of immortality)..
Thus if they actually could create smth like that.. It would be possible for a human who fell in love with a diety to live together forever.. Thus Deanna could help either herself, or some other couple (like Horo and Lawrence)..
How's this for and idea ?

Well I dont know about the alchemists in the novels but the real alchemist's in our world purpose was a Philosophical Stone (can transmute every material) rather than Eternal Youth Elixir.

I didn't think VII would sound interesting given the lack of connection to the ongoing plot but the idea of reading stories from her perspective is something I've wanted to hear from the beginning. You never quite know what she's thinking or when she's serious.

My mind is always Blank-Mage. I just pretend to be normal other times so I don't get fired, arrested, or shot. Singing Tabi no Tochu aloud gets me enough weird looks as is, especially when you're air drumming while dressed as a ninja and holding a 5 foot long sword made of duct tape, riding a bike down main street at two in the morning.

....So..... I like the volume 9 cover, too.
