After reading in here I´m also somewhat eager to see Buso Renkin.

Personally I wouldn´t mind seeing Hentai Kamen animated.

(No seriously. I think it would be awesome to see Hentai Kamen animated. )

But since the story continued in the tankoubons, I'll go read them for the real ending.
The real ending is very good, in my opinion. ^_^

You read the complete story? Wow. Cool. I only managed to read Period. I got kinda lost and I heard that there's a chapter named Final. So can you tell me what is Final about? Thanks!

Looking forward to Busou Renkin anime. Hope it will have more and longer fighting scenes than the manga!

I went out and bought volume 9 and 10 just to continue where I left off.
And I agree, the real ending is totally awesome, albeit a typical "good" ending.

Will buy the rest sometime in the near future.

Now I can't wait for the anime. XD

I think you got lost because Final happens after Boy Meets Battle Girl and before Period.
So you should read Final, then Period.

There's also an extra chapter after Period which shows life after everything.

Freaking hilarious.
Especially near the end when someone is revealed.
A truely WTF LOL moment. XD

Well, yes, but having read Ruroken and Gun Blaze West, well, Watsuki's way of writing the ending is consistant with his other works. Though he does, when he has the opportunity to, really make his characters work for their ending, at least...

Sure brings back memories, I read the first 4 novels when I was a kid. Who would have thought these would be translated to Japanese, and would even get animated...

It's a good thing they're animating the second novel, as the last ones start to go downhill IMO, but it's going to be confusing without the first novel's story and Peggy Sue's encounter with the blue dog. I'm curious to see how they will handle it. I hope they follow the French novel's art too, which makes her look much more mature than the Japanese cover... Ah well, We'll see in late 2008. Thanks for the news

This was posted on ANS yesterday, but feel's (Jinki:Extend, D.C.S.S.) new project has been announced: Otome wa Oboku-sama ni Koishiteru, based on an eroge by Caramel Box (that was also published on PS2 by Alchemist). A lot of the D.C.S.S. staff is back for the new project, as you can see. From what I can tell, it seems like the main story revolves around a boy who, to fulfill the will of his recently-deceased grandfather, enters an all-girls school, which of course means cross-dressing (or some sort of magic, I guess... ^^; ). "She" becomes the talk of the school; the "elder sister". (Haven't played the game, so someone correct me if I'm wrong.) Not seinen, or based on a seinen manga or seinen light novel, as far as I know.
