I must mention that a running gag in that fic was newbies doing random summons and Arf and Yuuno had to play clean up.
It was one of Arf's biggest complaints in the fic. Anyway... Still nice to see Yuuno, even though he probably won't show up after this again.

Since everyone is so far ahead now, I'll just post my thoughts on what I've read so far.
Vivid is a nice break from the more serious stories present in StrikerS and Force. I actually like this more than Force, because of its simple plot. And having grown up watching tournament arc anime most of the time, it only adds more appeal. It also shows a side of Mid-Childa we haven't seen in previous seasons and in Force: namely the fact that not all combat mages are in the military and combat magic is also viewed as a sport. Take Sieglinde for example, she was at one point, interdimensional champion, and (as far as I've read) has never been defeated in combat. Surely the TSAB would want such a talented mage on their ranks, but she's still a civilian. I think if Nanoha hadn't been drafted to the military, she could've made a career as a professional fighter, and we all know Nanoha loves fighting strong opponents. The fights were quite amazing. My favorite so far is the Einhart vs Corona fight. If you can give the official rival a run for her money, then whether you win or lose, you are awesome. Speaking of Corona, there's something that bothers me about her skill. She can apparently mimic other fighters' moves by programming herself to execute a technique under certain conditions. Was it stated how she "acquired" the moves? Based on Vivio and Rio's reactions, it doesn't seem that they taught her Accel Smash and Tiger Roar.

Also, they nerfed Vivio by taking away her Saint Armor. If she had that, she would've tanked Miura's kicks. Sadly she's treaded the same path as Nanoha, losing to that girl with more skill and that girl that hits like a truck.

It's not like she can use it by will anyway. I think that is a passive skill of the Saint King, since in StrikerS, even without the relic, if Quattro is to be believed, Vivio could survive an S class bombardment magic without a scratch... and she's like 6 at that time.

Again, clone of the strongest mage alive. The reason why this is always a circle argument is because there isn't a real answer for this: that happen so that is what we get. Some are ok, others no but in the end will remain the same. Vivio is weal compare to her mothers.
