Quick question for everyone:

Ive never bought any of the Umineko DVD's but hearing that the newest one would have an Eva_B dakimakura.

Is this the one I need to purchase to get the Dakimakura?

You need the "Gold Edition" of Note 9, which will most likely be the most expensive version listed wherever you look for it. It'll also be a pre-order as it comes out 6/23.

I don't see why they connected Genji and Ronove, but not Kumasawa and Virgilia though.
Genji's last name is "Ronoue", which is pronounced the same way as "Ronove". The sound novel's TIPS state that Genji was the first furniture Kinzo ever created, but he had assistance from a demon. We are left to assume this demon is Ronove. Not to mention Ronove himself stated more than once his relationship to Genji, saying they were almost like brothers, or that Genji was like his vessel in the human realm.

Not only that, but in EP6 of Umineko no Naku Koro ni Chiru,
Spoiler for series specific:

Ah, sorry, I forgot to mention that CDJapan calls it the "Special Edition [Limited Edition]".

But glad you found it at AmiAmi and for what looks like a bit cheaper . (lol at the "Cold Edition")

@immblueversion: I know all that. Like I said, I don't get why connect them but not Virgilia to Kumasawa. The anime shows they're connected considering Kumasawa literally turns into Virgilia.

also you should put that EP 6 info under a spoilertag.

Whoever did the little English there is in this book gets props for correct spelling (they even spelled Virgilia right, instead of putting "Warugiria" or something). Though they did forget the b in Lambdadelta.

Oh d-d-damn you, I was thinking I should skip buying this when I go back home during summer break but now you made me want to buy it again TAT lol. One question, how are the character pages and production material sections? Are they detailed? I was pretty satisfied with Higurashi Kai's guidebook in that aspect, and it's pretty much one of my main reasons for getting guide books.

The character pages are fairly detailed, especially Battler, Ange, Maria, and Beatrice's (who all get two pages). Though the parents and some magical characters just get smaller simpler descriptions.

As for Production material, like I said they give a storyboard example from each Umineko anime episode, and they're very amusing to look at. Other than that, there's character line art for almost every character, and fairly descriptive background line art for most locations in the story (though I was a bit sad that they left out the parlor here for some reason...).

In addition to all this, there's the Illustration Gallery which has every anime art piece of the series released by the time the book came out (which was around February I believe), a Story section talking about each Episode (1 through 4, which the anime covers), an "All Story" section that talks about each individual anime episode, a "Basic Term" section which looks like it's talking about basic terms, phrases, and... things that come up in Umineko (repeat it in red, 07151129, kihihi, one-winged eagle symbol, etc), and two sections called "World Analysis" and "Magic Analysis" which seem to be discussing and analyzing both the world the series takes place in and all the magic events that take place. There's also 3 interviews at the end (I only recognized Ryukishi of the three... of the other two, one was some guy, and the other didn't have a picture of a person, but showed pics of Beatrice and Lambdadelta...).

All in all: It's really nice to look at, I just really wish I could actually read it... ;A;

Thanks, that cemented my desire to buy it lol, but yea I feel your pain. I have the guidebooks for Higurashi Kai and Rei, as well as other animes like Phantom and Pandora Hearts. I can't read any kanji without furigana, so I'm also saddened TAT.

A source told me that there is a Beatrice (Yes, suit Beatrice!) figure around, but I just can't find it. I even can't find a picture. I think he was lying to me.

I really want a figure of Battler

I have question about Rosa Musou game.
Couple of weeks ago, I found jacket image of second Rosa Musou game. It features Eva-B & the Siestas...but I can't find any info about it?
Does this second game really existed?

Quick question, I've begun to see pictures of miniature versions, and indeed a full sized variation, of the Beatrice portrait. Are these custom made or have they started selling them?
