the whole thing is nonsense.

Hamas will remain in control of Gaza, and Fatah will remain in control of the west bank, and both sides will keep on trying to secretly fight over control.

they are trying for statehood, and figure the "Unity" thing might promote it better then having two separate entities.

establish a country first, THEN fight over who gets to rule it.

Supreme Court: AT&T can force arbitration, block class-action suits

With a ruling like that, what's to stop all companies from packing terms of use requiring arbitration with every product to prevent all lawsuits?

A proper Sales of Goods Act. From what I know, my local law can make the EULA void if there is sufficient validation that Sony doesn't protect the credit and credit information users used purchase their PSN points. If Sony decides to fight the case, they have to take apart their entire PS3 and server for electronic analysis as they failed to uphold their end of the Official Secrets Act (commercial).

Hopefully, those oil speculators will use their short-selling skills against companies like this.

Lower! Lower!

Yes, you are supposed to respect everybody. You don't punch someone who much less stronger than you are and much smaller, unless you are aiming to harm that person, in which case it is counter productive, SPECIALLY if you are a police officer. The act of punching someone is a sign of aggression, it has nothing to do with defense. The act of punching is, in most cases, an outlet for repressed emotions. That was police brutality, pure and simple.

Don't blow the situation out of proportion by claiming that she was dangerous.

Steve-o sure loves to feed us bullshit. If your mobile device has location-based services, you're being tracked. Else how would the phone know where it is? The wireless networks know your IMEI, so they know when you're connected.

Apple may not be tracking people, but the carrier surely is. Whether they actually do anything with the information is the question.

Android is not immune to this either. There is an app in the Market that lets you view your location request cache, which is unencrypted on both iOS and Android. The Android app lets you delete and block the cache, however, but your device must be rooted.

I blocked and deleted my cache and it doesn't seem to make any difference in the speed of GPS locks or other location-based services.

If nothing else, they relay the calls to wherever you are. Unless you're with At&T or something...

I guess presidential elections would gather more limelight than a royal marriage ceremony simply based on the demograph of members here, but for those who are interested eitherway, the link is here. Get a peek into traditional English culture, dress sense and random ass crazy Brits cheering at the side ^^

For someone who has been to over 50 funerals, but never attended a wedding before (so they're like curious things to me only seen in movies) and given that we're still surviving over here from last month's Tsunami disaster, any cause of celebration of new life, new beginnings this Springtime is a good thing ^^

They wouldn't be able to attend anyway, due to Friday prayers.

Was a good wedding. I thought the whole thing was very tastefully done. They managed to make it untacky, which is an achievement in my book. Particularly liked the trees, whoever thought of that deserves a medal.

Syria: 'Scores die' in protests across country
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-13234557
At least 62 people have been killed across Syria as thousands of anti-government demonstrators rallied in several cities, activists say.
you know, just a reminder that more then just the royal wedding took place today.

There was a wedding?

The space shuttle launch was delayed until probably Monday due to a mechanical problem.
