Because staring at images to edit isn't the greatest thing, either, especially if you're nit-picky about certain things, like how I'm still fretting over this picture's minuscule details and now I'M LOOKING AT IT AGAIN ASGDJGBADSGLASDFGDFH.

Anyway, yes, I do think Nagumo was talking about that pic and that blog, because that picture was the cover art for the re-printed version of the fanfiction (Das Resultats Sagt Alles) sold at Comike last month, if I recall correctly.

Which is why I had to get up-close and personal with my monitor for awhile...

And to tell the truth, it was still kind of a wild guess... If you look closely at the first of the kanji in the middle you can just barely make out... that one radical... y'know, the L-shape thing with the dot above it... (Does it have a name?) So I looked up all the kanji containing it and just went from there...

...So, does anyone else think they resemble "選抜" or have I been awake too long?

(Also, I'm starting to think that "chief" might have been a better translation than "director." Forgive me. orz)

"適当" has several meaning.But in this case,it is same as "いい加減"(halfway) or "出鱈目"(randomly).In present Japanese,when "適当" is used in the spoken language not a document, it is usually a bad meaning.

Then, the best English equivalent I can think of would be: "Chief Mariel had it thrown together for me." (Since it kind of denotes randomness...)

Any other ideas...?

Did photonugget shrink the ヴィータのキモチ/Vita's Feelings doujin or are they really that small-ish? Actually, looking back on how some pages say "to be continued" on the bottom, it's probably a web comic, so no to my own question....

I looked through the first two pages and it seems like the translations are pretty okay, just a couple of minor things missing here and there. Like in the second page;
Vita : いちばんおっきの
いっこ、ください。
ｗｗｗｗ

I'd personally translate that sentence as "I'd like one of your biggest ones, please." because even though we're dealing with cakes, she never actually said ケーキ. That and the guy totally forgot to translate the please. VITA MAY BE TOUGH, BUT SHE'S POLITE-ish.

I'd be more comfortable if someone with a better knowledge of Japanese could proofread those translations before I try to change them myself to try and make it sound more pleasing for the English readers.

And if I do edit it, would you like me to remove the つづく or add the "to be continued" or something I can't even think of?

Oh, and a late thank you for the compliments on my lolimage editing skills. :<
