To Heart 2 ad OVA (ToHeart2 Another Days)

To heart 2 another days anime is set for 03/26 release the game should be out at the end of february.

I hope they keep the quality of the last few OVAs and do not revert back to the horrid first season TV series.

Yeah, I liked the first OVAs OP a little better too, but this makes me look forward to TH2ad even more. It'll be interesting to see what TH2ad does, do they focus on some of the characters who haven't gotten much screentime yet in the OVA or TV series, like Yuki or Yocchi? Or will they involve the main cast more like Konomi and Tamaki? I'd love to see a conclusive ending, but I think the odds are slim given Takaaki's harem is growing to D.C.S.S. proportions and he hasn't shown any sign of making a real decision...

After seeing the second trailer, the first OVA for ad seems to focus on Tamaki. Involves some kind of letter...

Awesome ep. haha loved how all the girls were trying to manipulate takakki when he loses his memory. Big plus points for Tama-nee in this ep!

hmmm I was a bit disappointed. It was decent, but nothing worth talking about really. just like all the other mediocre dating sim to OVA anime conversions. I dont understand why they just cant focus on one interesting event instead of trying to cram all the characters in. Also, they call this another days, yet not a single new character from another days was in it :/

Because that would be a bad marketing stratagy. They would be only focusing on one audience and ignoring all the rest. I don't remember how many characters there are in AD but lets say there is 5. If they focus on 1, that's ignoring 4/5 of the audience and loosing a large amount of profit .

It was pretty predictable that Tamaki used her iron claw to give Takaaki amnesia.
The brainwashing by the girls, Takaaki's self-image of himself after receiving brainwashing, and everyone trying to give him amnesia were all very funny too.

Yep, very enjoyable episode. I hope the other OVAs will be just as fun to watch.

We've already started work on it. My lead translator for it just got back from two weekends worth of cons (Anime Boston and Sakuracon), both of which he was working at, but it's definitely in progress. I really like the OP song to this OVA. It's a really nice song.

Good part about this is that the majority of the original girls are in this episode, whereas in the game, it's mainly the new girls except for Konomi and Tama-nee. Unfortunately, the other girls such as Konomi's friends, Maryann, Yuki, Ikuno, etc either barely get any screen time or none at all. Though we'll probably see more of them in the next episode.

Personal favorites are Sasara and Tama-nee., though if I were to choose one girl for Takaaki to end up wtih, it would be Manaka.

BTW, Kotobukiya has been releasing the TH2 ad figurines of the new characters, though I've started collecting the ones with the original girls in their maid outfits in black. So far, I think Sasara and Tamaki are the only two released. Konomi, Manaka, and Yuma have theirs coming up soon.

It made a virtue of its cliche-ridden nature. For me, it just had a good feeling. Maybe it was how good a character I thought Tama-nee was. Itou Shizuka was terrific.

And I'm eager to hear more Ochiai Yurika (Konomi). She is one of the most popular seiyuu on 2channel, even though she gets hardly any work. They love her for her blog, which tells about her troubles in excruciating detail.

Finally we see the shy side of Tama-nee, her side which makes her my favorite character in this series. For me she's at her best when shy, because it's such a rare occasion when it does happen. Very adorable indeed.

Also it was fun seeing all the characters together for a change --- it wasn't like that in the past three episode OVA.

Well after watching ep1 AD, it leaves me to believe that the girl at the end will be Tama-nee. Come on she is the best out of the bunch.

But the 2nd best has the be the Student Council President (girl with white hairl; forgot name) her part's were just to funny.

Lol AD ep 1 just reminds me why I dislike the majority of the harem genre. All this development would be forgotten and for naught next episode, when we focus on another girl.

I really liked this episode too, although I can't help thinking Takaaki is right when he says he and Tama-nee aren't well-matched. Takaaki just...doesn't seem to be strong-willed enough to really be a good match for her somehow. I seriously doubt this OVA series will end with Takaaki actually making a choice, but I think he and Konomi are probably the best match--even though Konomi still hasn't gotten much screentime in the OVAs. I'm hoping we'll get a Konomi-centric episode later, don't know how many episodes TH2ad will run though...
