Total War: Warhammer(?)
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...warhammer-deal
So Santa come early? I can only hope this is true cause this would make my year really. Total War game based on Warhammer, oh the fun to be had! Would only need a proper LOTR Total War and I'm sorted!

In eras like Empire/Napoleon and Shogun the units were pretty much universal. Everyone had their standard line infantry and such and in Shogun 2 it took place in Japan so yeah of course they'd have the same units for most factions. With Warhammer the unit roster is already established so all CA has to do like Dawn of War is to bring them in. |

@Soldier True but a lot of balancing work need to be done to translate table ability and skill set of models
A lot time is required if CA uses say 4 factions time say what 12 unique units models no including buildings But CA does good work ill give them benefit of the doubt |

Sounds like it's just fantasy battle, considering Relics contract for the DOW games.
It IS a bit disappointing, since a Total War 40k game would be interesting. I guess I'll just have to lend myself to HOPING that by the time Relic does DOW 3, that they take inspiration more from Company of Heroes 2 than from Dawn of War 2...It wasn't a bad game or anything...the pseudo RPG stuff just wasn't as fun as large scale army operation.

Can't really say I'm too hyped for this as an avid TW fan. Was hoping they would re-do Medieval TW, cuz it's about time lol. I don't know, I just don't like the fact that TW is taking on some other company's idea rather than continuing their own wars. Then again, if you think about it there isn't really much other type of war games they can make aside from redoing Medieval TW. Maybe that's why they decided to pursue warhammer? Though, I'll probably end up buying it anyway, as I do all the other TW games (except for Napoleon).
That was my main issue with TW: Atilla. Pretty much all the barb factions (even the norse and hordes) have the same units...too repetitive (and of course that's why I use mods). TW is built on SP, or rather campaign.

The video was cool though, but there is something... that always seems off to me when it comes to Orcs being animated, they seem... stilted... in any WH video, compared to Orcs in WoW who're fluid as water. Loved the big demon at the end though.

Well Orks aren't Orcs, after all, they're Orks buffed out to the eleven, and with good old-fashioned football hooliganism thrown in. Funny though, I don't spot Grimgor anywhere in the video, whereas Emperor Karl Fsking Franz is leading the Empire defense personally.
