Well it seems like we can offically say kuroko S2 is a shoe in. The anime alone is expected to sell 10K and the anime boosted manga sales by 110k and thats not even favoring the character songs sells hell it even boosted LN sales for it.

I'm surprised then that it isn't more popular in this forum, considering the other Jump anime still do pretty well in terms of post count. I guess the average Asuki forumer isn't part of the demographic for Kuroko?

Obviously there aren't enough girls here. Jokes aside, sports series has rarely been a big thing amongst Asuki forumers. Especially one that plays it pretty straight like Kuroko.

Let's just put it this way. Those who aren't watching this anime are missing out
Unless of course they just hate sports full stop As for episode 16, I'm really wondering what Kuroko and the others are going to do about the situation they're in. In their last game, they won by a mere few points thanks to Kagami who was injured near the end. This time they're facing a more feared member of The Generation Of Miracles and it's only been half the game and Kagami's already struggling with his injuries. To add to that, the other members were struggling with the other members of the team they're facing without Aoimine in the way.

I didn't really like the design of Kuroko in the PV&Ep.1, it looked like they were always deprived of sleep with dark rings under their eyes
Though I read the manga and maybe I'll give the anime a try once it finishes. Kuroko had a LN version? That is new to me

Touou vs Seirin.
They are pretty strong even without Aomine. So their strength is no tin team work, but just the opposite. Touou's play is every man for himself. Momoi is one slick girl. Looks like she researched them really well. Kagami was overdoing it and got pulled out. A smart, but risky choice. Putting him back in game was even riskier, will it pay off? Aomine's arrival made tensions run even higher.

The thing about Prince of Tennis was that it became extremely bloated round the 2nd half of the series, and then it pretty much spiraled out of control once the author decided to be fanservice-driven.
Kuroko no Basket is nowhere near there. The fact that the series concentrates and revolves itself around the 'GoM' is actually a benefit, since the focus will never escape away from the colourful gang of fujoshi fanbaits. Unlike PoT where guys like Atobe became so popular the series literally worships the ground he walks on.

And yet, I can still switch my brain off just because the show is so darn entertaining. Looking forward to watching this episode. Hoping for another speech from Aomine about practice....
