I'm trying to slice the Nyan Kuri video into three parts and close captioning and translating EVERYTHING onto Youtube. It's been tougher than I thought. Anyone have any solid, definite lyrics for Koi no Dogfight? If not, I just worry I might miss a word or two. Oh well. This is a lot of fun, but also a LOT of work. Desperately trying to release my first part within the week.

I posted the lyrics to the CM Ranka version of Koi no Dogfight a while back, but I went by ear, since the CM Ranka booklet doesn't have lyrics for it.

That was the problem I had with that particular CD release. I just can't imagine an image CD not having lyrics. I usually go by ear too since most translations I just don't have too much faith in (especially something like Universal Bunny which I find to have some of the most off translations I've seen for a song in a while).

I always thought Mizuki Nana would be great in a Macross series. I think it'd be better for the series than it would be for her, unlike May'n where it was a mutually beneficial deal.

Whew. Finally finished subbing the first third of Nyan Kuri Bluray and I now need to figure out how to upload a FLAC MKV video into Youtube.

I think people are gonna like the translation quality of Ranka's Koi no Dogfight. I hope to be of some service to the Macross fan community.

I love those covers :heart: I wish there were full version floating around somewhere, though.

I really like the Houkago Overflow single~ Ranka keeps getting really awesome songs lately, and it sounds like Mamegu is making huge improvements in her singing voice!
Get It On -Flying Rock- has a weird title, but it's really catchy~~

A formal single release would be great. I love Mizuki Nana and they did a great job together. But one thing I liked about the Ranka and Sheryl duets were they contrasted each other so much. To me, Mizuki and May'n sound much more similar compared to the former.

cant agree more houkago overflow has a cool opening, I rarely like mamegu's song but I like this one.

Wha, wha what? Even with Mamegu's amateurish singing voice, I was a fan of her innocence and earnest qualities in her songs. Oh well. Can't please everyone.

But yeah, the hook in Houkago Overflow is spine-tingling.

I'm thinking of putting off a Macross Frontier Nyan Kuri translation vid on Youtube for a while and maybe transcript and translate Overflow and put it on Youtube. I hope I do the song justice with the trans.

Sorry about that. But hardsubbing results just doesn't look right for my translations. My actual subtitle videos just comes out looking weird after Youtube filtering.
