I am really hyped for these remakes. Wonder what they are going to do with Groundon and Kyorge. Last time I got ruby but I am really conflicted on which one I should get this time.

Unlikely, since there wasn't a Yellow or Crystal version for FireRed/LeafGreen and HeartGold and SoulSilver.

I heard some Japanese talk show will show first footage of gameplay for Hoenn remakes, does anyone know the time in GMT and if it's possible to stream it?

Japanese show showed some of the game intro/trailer, with Groudon being on the land causing a drought with its ability and Kyogre splashing in the ocean causing drizzle. Also some speculation that the artwork forms may be mega evolution of the normal legendaries.

1 hour long, with 30 seconds of trailer + speculation and 59 minutes of weirdness with some guy taking a bath and "mega evolving" and gaining "Parental Bond" as an ability, which was just bringing his kid into the show. Wasted 1 hour of sleep for this

At the very least it solidly confirms the game will be all 3D models like X&Y.

I just found out about these remakes. I can't until they are released!

I will most likely pick up Omega Ruby but, version exclusives could change that.

Damn....Well, I never picked Treecko and now that looks like a pretty appealing choice.

Maxie looks like a nerd. Frankly, I'm not too fond of any of the redesigns...except Courtney's which is too damn cute.

Now, I'm thinking of getting both games just so I can fight Courtney in OR...

Good thing we'll likely get Character Customization so I can change the FeMC's appearance to suit my tastes.

The one thing I don't like about the new leaks are the designs for Brendan and May. They feel absolutely inferior in design to their RSE counterparts, but character customization will most likely be in OR/AS so I don't mind it as much.

Everything else... bring it on.

So after a second look, Team Aqua's redesigns have grown on me. They actually look like pirates, which is actually quite fitting and a huge improvement over the original Team Aqua. I still wish Shelley kept the red hair, though.

But, Courtney's redesign is perfect and superior to the rest.

They really said that? Even so, Diancie's a rare mythical, you can only get by event. It doesn't really count.

Finally, mega Swampert and mega Sceptile.

I have always liked Swampert. It's design and his typing are great. Only having one weakness is very nice as well. It's mega looks pretty cool as well. It looks strong and bulky at the same time. Swift swim is a pretty nice ability as well. The normal slow swampert can finally outspeed its enemies (in the rain). Luckily it retains its water/ground typing as well.

Mega Sceptile looks nice too. It becomes a grass/dragon in its mega form and it gains the lightning rod ability. This means that grass and water moves are only 0.25x effective and that it is immune to eletric attacks. It loses it's fire weakness as well. Sadly this also means that we'll have another pokemon with a 4x weakness to ice...
