Boiled dolphin!

Even Hii-chan does damage to the dolphins around here.

Good closing episode, too.

Definitely a strong candidate for most underrated show of the year. I'm disappointed that the incident from the OP never happened in the anime, actually, but apart from that it was a good finale. More strong clues on Yeti-kun's gender, but nothing official. The closest the series has come to a lack of irony between Muromi and Takkun. And some mermaid philosophy.

Decent 12minute show, probably best one I ever watched.

Takkun worried about his future and muromi-san cheering him up was a sweet scene.

Thought it would have been a nice surreal last scene to the series is if you see a grown adult or even an old man in a brown coat standing on the shore/pier, and you only see his back.

Then you hear Muromi-san call Takkun's name, and the person bottom face smiles before the screen fades. (but you don't see his whole face)

This anime was funny and I would recommend it to anyone who likes wacky comedy. And well, all that I want to say was already said by the rest of you guys here, so I only hope that the OVA will be good too.

There will be an OVA? of a 13 minute per episode series?

This series was a lot of fun! Nothing more I can say about it, except maybe that I will not see cucumbers the same way again lol.

I think it was obvious that this was meant to tell us to not take this show seriously.

But yeah, definitely most underrated show of this season. Didn't know what to expect when I started watching it, came out highly satisfied at the end. Some of the innuendo was a bit over the top (especially in episode 12), but I liked how, in the end, Takkun acknowledged Muromi's feelings for him by giving her that necklace, thus indirectly telling her that he cares about her as well.

I'm going to miss this show, it was a bit mad and a lot lewd, but in a good way. Also I think the episode length was definitely in the sweet spot where episodes weren't so short so they were over before you got into them, and not so long that any element outstayed its welcome.

Definitely the most FUN show of the season, in my reckoning!

OVA OMG!

Seriously they went a lot further with the whole cucumber thing than they had in the series. The sight of Mana fellating that cucumber had me thinking "How do they get away with this stuff!

And that was before we got to the drug references!

Figured it had to be her. She has a very distinctive voice which I think works really well in some roles, and worked here.

All in all it was a nice revisit.

It is a shame they couldn't get Wakamoto for 'Andersen' though, that would have made it an even bigger reference!

indeed those mermaid are either time lords or really over 200 million years yea calling either doctor who or prof paradox for it.

muromi trying do snow white pose til buried by cats & harpy yet reveal she came up with snow white til grimm brothers copied it.

then ask about little mermaid which muromi know about give long time ago when earth was one land with mermaid & human together with levia as teacher while on cooking pot?!

til muromi meet a prince but want legs so muromi & mana go wild search for legs til met person from manga to give legs so after hmm well oops inject on head her legs.

but bit flop & prince want mana yet prince is wiseman cue NO NO NO so have levia burn it all to ground which cause make earth look like now.

yet was made into a manga til it rip-off by andersen yep it likely did happen give mana appear as well.

How did I know I'd be able to find Waldo if I looked closely enough at the Comiket crowd?

I loved how they just went all the way with the sudden OVA introduction of a shamelessly otaku-pandering loli mermaid. Funny as hell.

yes... it's the rise of loli-mermaids.

Also, seems like almost anything of big importance in History is always related to Muromi, lol.
