Perhaps I should have specified "without her supernatural powers".
But I guess I could replace her if necessary. I just think that she has a very colorful and flashy personality that would bounce off well with other characters (I'd particularly be interested in seeing Haruhi and Kirino interact), and I also think she'd be loads of fun during trials. I imagine her being a bit like a female Togami during trials. If I had to replace her, let's see... Super Duper High School Disciplinarian: Kanata Futaki So instead of a female Togami, now we have a female Ishimaru. It would also mean that Riki is not the only Little Busters! representative in the cast, and that I have someone with pink hair in the cast.

So Riki is the Makoto of the cast? That actually really works !
L-Elf could probably get away with killing someone if he wanted to. The fate of the rest of the cast would be dependent on whether he cared to fare it with the rest of them or would rather take his chances. Last edited by Frontier; 2013-09-29 at 19:35. |

I also wanted a good mastermind (Light Yagami), someone who could fill Kirigiri's role (Homura or Kurisu could do that), Celes' style (Kuroneko), a hardcore otaku (Ishida), and at least one hot-headed guy that could fill a Leon/Mondo role (Rin Matsuoka). After that, I aimed for a good combination of personal favorites (Sayaka, Mami, Okabe), loud personalities (Kirino, Saki), and characters with distinct specialties/interests (L-Elf, Wien, Hiro). I also wanted the cast to have some natural friendship pairs/trios, and romance potential (Okabe/Kurisu is obvious, I could see Sayaka and Wien hitting it off, Hiro and Kirino have similar interests). Rena or Mion, from Higurashi, would be awesome to throw into the mix, though they might go insane right away, due to spoilery reasons, just so he can use his catch phrase, Shiro Emiya, would be awesome, oh and having just seen the Railgun finale Saten

"People die when they are killed" is more of a meme than a catch phrase. Besides, won't he just go running around telling the girls to stay in the kitchen their rooms, because it's too dangerous to go outside and get himself killed in the process?
On an unrelated note. They're making more of these Abridged things. |

During a radio talk with Ogata, Kishi has revealed that the "staff is still on fire and plan to make an additional scene for the last episode".
There is absolutely no clear indication of which scene will be added for the BD/DVD release, not how long it will be.

Here's some tidbits about the executions from the visual fan book.
Kuwata Leon: The game's staff was sick of his design and personality. Hence, he was picked as the first to be executed. 11037 baseballs were fired. Monokuma made sure that they do not hit the heart area to avoid immediate death. Oowada Mondo: The truth behind the butter: He died when the veins in his head burst, and his brain juices exploded. The brain juice and fats became the butter. The rest of the body became plastic, which is used to make the container. The electric shocks prevented him from fainting during the process. Inside the morgue container lies an empty plastic container. Monokuma ate all the butter. Also, apparently the motorcycle he was on was made by a student called Souda Kazuichi. Yasuhiro Taeko: A Marie Antoinette style burning - an ending of her dreams. The firetruck is meant for her to despair from not having her dreams fulfilled. Monokuma quenching the fire at the end shows that her hopes are extinguished. Alter Ego: Decimation of a laptop = Making real life computer addicts feel despair when they imagine their own keyboards being crashed. Note: Alter Ego commented that it tickles when Naegi typed his conversation with him. So... Naegi Makoto/Kirigiri Kyoko: Naegi/Kirigiri was not bounded to their seats. So they have the chance to escape. But they could not do so as they are in class. An allusion to how a typical student will not suddenly stand up from their seat during class when not called upon. The detention block symbolizes heavy pressure that students faced. And in Japanese, detention - 補習 means 知識を頭に叩き込む, driving knowledge into the head. Enoshima Junko: At the very last second, the detention block paused for a moment. At this point, there is a change in Enoshima Junko's expression. This is her getting bored of being executed, just as she is bored with her personalities, her life, everything. This is in contrary to what many gamers thought of : that it is to let her think that she might not be executed. Last edited by Solitaired; 2013-10-04 at 12:18. |

I compiled these from Japanese threads. Japanese are a lot more touchy with spoilers and with the anime completed, many information are beginning to come out. Some are from interviews, various fan books etc.
The official game fan book has detailed desciptions of the executions, including those who are murdered and surviving. There is a latest visual book released recently but I haven't bought it yet, perhaps it's from there. |

Junko also seems to be looking up, but on a closer inspection I realized it isn't so clear, still, you know, in art it's more important how things appear than what they actually are.

Does anyone know where I can find the themesong "Never say Never" in full? I got the Original Soundtrack but that version is only the anime 1:30 length version. Does it come with one of the DVDs, and if so, which one?
On a side note, I noticed that all the DVDs came with a separate CD - does anyone have a list as to what those CDs contain? Thanks! |

Just a tiny bump to say that the Funimation dub is now available...
And yeah... unfortunately the only voice actor they could get back from the game's english dub was Bryce Papenbrook as Makoto... so unfortunately it may sound abit off (especially Monokuma) to those who actually played the games dubbed...

Amnesia
Guys, i have a question. I'm so very confused about the whole amnesia thing. what i dont get is, if Makoto and the others were subjected to memory loss 2 years before the game started, why did they already faint the very first day they came to the academy (2 years ago)? if anything, Makoto and other shouldnt have fainted, and gone on to have a school life for 2 whole years, and THEN after those 2 years is when they should faint, lose their memories, and wake up after some time just like Makoto did in the classroom. so the point is, why did they faint much, much earlier? that bothers me so much .
