it is out in the "usual places" but sadly as a movie, it seem like it lacks a movie animation budget. There are no subs so I do not know the actual plot but I will give my observation about the movie.

I just watched (downloaded hehehe) the movie yesterday and it wasn't very impressed by it but it wasn't too bad either. It wasn't subbed so I could hardly understand anything so I shouldn't judge it early but it certainly had its moments

Spoiler for spoiler:

Weird indeed. The ending was cheesy... but the amount of rage I felt during the first few mins.

Biggest troll in anime 2012 so far ;/

Thoroughly disappointed. I stayed away from this thread purposefully in great anticipation until I got to watch it, but it would seem like that was a mistake. I might have been able to save myself from wasting 80 minutes of my day. Ironically, it seems like the manga will be the one make it up for me.

Am I the only one who liked the movie?

I mean sure the ending was really meh but I thought as a way to finish the anime series once and for all it was worth something.

Sadly, the way this is going, prepare to be disappointed with the manga ending.

Well, I liked the transformation sequences, the Mana/Kaede/Ku fight, and the Mundus Magicus cameos. That was it.

I'm not watching this movie. Even if it's got a good scene between Negi, Nodoka and Yue. I just wouldn't be able to not think back on this movie as a final memory on how Negima ended.

Man, becoming a Brony was a good decision after all.

To be fair, looks like the actual end will be just as bad.

Oh, you're not alone there, as Friendship is Magic is my way of retaining sanity during this period of poor writing by Ken Akamatsu.

Of course, that leads to me wondering which Negima character would fit each pony
Spoiler for Negima/Pony Comparisons:

Would that make Negi a male version of Twilight Sparkle? And just Who would be Rainbow Dash?

that was... a pretty bad movie.

some decent moments but overall it was just so meh I couldn't find words to care.

twilight sparkle i think fits chisame's personality fairly well and i think rainbow dash would fit the twins pretty well. then again i haven't seen to much MLP so can't really justify it that much.

No matter how disappointing the manga may/will be, it cannot be as horrible as the movie.

Past the absurd budget issue all around (a lot of dubious animation and sakuga quality all around), the script barely made any sense.
Many out of character behaviours were shown, starting with 3-A accepting the situation within mere seconds. But also how pointless the whole deal prior mars crisis was (of course, we already mentioned before how stupid the memory wipe was).

Mars crisis wasn't any better, and it was basically a very dumb pretense to have the same lame device as the very first anime series.

Consistency and story telling were extremely bad with the movie... at worst, it could be just some fanservice with most of the girls having a scene or two, but that could work as a random OVA. But a movie that is supposed to be a finale for a series like Negima? That's nothing short of a joke.
