Tessa rank is Navy (Captain) or Army (Colonel)?

They say "taisa", so this will be Colonel.

Also, I find something in Japanese Wikipedia:
陸戦部隊との混同を避けるため、海軍式のcaptainではなく陸軍式のcolonelを使用している
but I don't understand this well.

Tessa is a Navy Captain. Tessa as a COL rank insignia on her uniform.

Tessa's the captain of the TDD, but her actual Mithril rank is corporal, from what a friend told me.

Corporal will give her an inferior rank than Sousuke

Like I have said in the novel she is referred as captain when other seamen speak to her, the SRT refer to her has Colonel. She wear two type of uniform one with the COL insignia or one with the four gold stripes on the lower sleeve and/or shoulderboard, so she wear Captain (rank) uniform.

Mithril has given her the rank (and responsibility) of Captain to be the highest ranked soldier on the TDD-1 (higher rank than Mardukas).

This might have asked more than once but this thread is very long and i don't want to read through all those old posts so here my Question:

If wikipedia is true, there sould be a english translated version of Full Metal Panic Sigma, released in Singapore or so by "Chuang Yi". There also is a french translated version in Canada for the first 8 books but my french is very bad so no point on importing those. So as there seem to be a English translation for at least some of the Sigma books i looked where to import them but couldn't find anybody selling them.

Do you know where to get those english translated Full Metal Panic Sigma Mangas???

If not, i will buy the japanese ones but then for me it's just watching pictures as i can't read it but damn i'm a fan so i need to get those books so plz help me.

Hmm I've got 1-4 of Sigma in english printed by Chuang Yi.

You can get them off eBay; just search for "full metal panic sigma".

I actually got mine off an Australian anime website, Tamarket. Haven't seen any news of any more yet. Probably wasn't a big seller in english.

Its sad to see that there is no other english release of Sigma, that Tokyopop isn't releasing novel 4+ , that we don't get a new FMP season, no novel 21 and that those new Second Raid blu rays are region locked for america only ... god full metal panic is so fucked. Life sucks if you are a european fmp Fan. Well at least now there are some sweet model kits to spend money for.

well if it's not continuing then theres no need to order them. Will just get novel 1-11 from japan and watch pictures as i know the summary of most of the novels.

I have the one with the navy blue/black boxset cover. I really don't know what the difference is between those two boxsets except that the price differs. I compared the details on each but I can't seem to pinpoint the difference.

I think I'm picking up the red one because I noticed the blue/black one came out in 05, and the red on came out in 08. I think the blue/black one has more special features also.

Also the red one I found is being sold for 30 instead of 60, which means I can also pick up a copy of fumoffu with the left over money.

Edit: Nevermind. They are EXACTLY the same. Just repackaged. The Blue/Black one is now discontinued.

That would explain why Amazon took a while to ship it to me. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoy relaxing on weekends and re-watching these episodes. I love FMP.

I´am searching for a picture of Nami, that shows up in this youtube video at 0:49-0:50. There are many from the Novel and the Manga Sigma itself but I don´t find this one. It seems to be a picture from an official Manga in Japan ( maybe Kadokawa) but I haven´t found it yet.

Is there anyone who can help me out ?
Would appreciate it if someone find a picture with better quality
