It did have a trasnparent border, but if that's not what you wanted I'll just do a simple double border.

What I would like is to have the two kanji split up, and have a gif that cycles between them smoothly. If possible I would like it to have transparent backgrounds. In addition to that, I would like a same sized image of the original, just with transparent background as well, and as a .jpg

.jpg's do not support transparency. Also, could you define 'smoothly' in the context of the avatar please? Do you want it to fade in/out? I'm a bit unsure, but I'm willing to try for you.

I suggest you post around the forum more and make your presence known to the community, if you really want an avatar that is. With your very first post on the forum being an avatar request, I'm not sure any of the designers will acknowledge it.
