As for the Loli thing, characters look drawn so young these days that it's getting really hard to tell the difference anymore. I would have pinned the age of 11 on the main Nanatsuiro★Drops girl.

You just don't look well enough, there are lots of easy noticeable things that she's a moe character, but not a loli character (well two easy ones at least) : her height (149cm tall) and the fact she has breasts (I must admit it's a bit harder to notice on the original CGs however)

The show kind of confused me. Everything in the first half screamed "THIS IS FOR LITTLE GIRLS! ARE YOU A LITTLE GIRL, ARODUC?" To which the answer is likely no. Yet assumably the fans are not little girls so... hrm.

The second half betrayed the hentai game roots a little more with copious amounts of leggy Akihime including one particularly shameless ass shaking, but still... first episode just seemed like another generic cutesy magical girl show, albeit probably a little more tooth rottingly cute than most.

Yes, but for the one Nanoha, there were some dozens and dozens of Tokyo Mew Mews, Sugar Sugar Runes, etc etc. The utter lack of anything even approaching a stern argument in the OP/ED, let alone outright conflict, doesn't really give much/any weight to it becoming another rebel shonen series in a dress. Her magical staff is a spoon, for God's sake. The day you have a badass protagonist fighting with a spoon is... well... just sad.

I didn't think the day people weren't having an adaptation of a popular H-Game with Loli-Moe characters would come so soon. Then again the collect the 7 jewels thing sounds ripped straight from every magical girl series from Sailor Moon to Pretty Cure spanning about a decade and a half and this sequence looks like it could kill you even if you are used to cutesy stuff.

as first impressions go i rather like the whole idea of "collecting star juices" the whole ep overflows with moeness no doubt and not forgeting some bishiness provided by the teacher and tsuwabuki (so everyone wins ) ~ while the plot seems weird im willing to give it a few more eps to decide if it is a keeper or not
